Rockies Heli Canada owns and operates Helicopter Tours out of two unique locations:

Kananaskis Base (see Kananaskis Heli Tours)

Icefield Adventure Base (see Icefield Private Heli Tours - Please note they are not all private tours)

Our Icefield Adventure Base offers helicopter tours for those who like to venture off the beaten track and fully immerse themselves into the incredible sights and sounds of nature. Imagine the epic views as you soar right over Rocky Mountain peaks, getting a unique birds-eye view of glaciers, rivers, lakes, and waterfalls from a perspective that few are lucky enough to see. Your pilot whisks you over these incredible sights but the experience doesn’t stop there. Now, you land smack dab in the middle of the wild backcountry that would normally take 8 hours to hike in and you’ve been in the air for only 10 (amazing) minutes. From here, choose your own adventure:

Heli-Hiking

Heli-camping (guided or fly in/fly out)

Heli-yoga

Or maybe just pull out a picnic and some bubbly while relaxing with Mother Nature. The only thing we ask is that you remember to breathe!

Everything was great. Views are awesome. Felt very safe the entire time. Hike to waterfall was not difficult. So glad to have done this and would recommend to anyone.

I don't know why we didn't take a helicopter excursion prior to this trip. It was probably the money. We picked the right place to start, however. You will not find a more majestic, awe-inspired place in the Western Hemisphere then right here, in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. And if you get to land and meet some marmots... More

The most beautiful scenary you will ever get a chance to see and experience! We took the 55 minute tour of the 6 glaciers and the twin falls. Well worth the time and money. Something you definitely don't want to miss. Plus the staff, from the office to pilot, could not have any friendlier or professional.

My boyfriend and I went on the 6 Glaciers Tour + the Twin Falls hike and got to see the most beautiful views of the mountains we had ever seen (and my boyfriend grew up in Jasper), it was almost surreal to see them so up close and personal. Then we landed alongside a river and hiked through a majestic... More

This is a must do activity. Fantastic to go right up to a summit, see the glacier and its unpolluted lake and ride over the canyons, rivers and lakes!

What a fantastic experience; from the ladies who do the bookings, the guy who walked us out and our Pilot Andrew. A very friendly bunch, I enjoyed the trip and felt safe throughout. Having never been in a helicopter until this trip, i must say it should be on everyones bucket list. The views were surreal and the commentary by... More

We booked through local Experience Lake Louise office--Louis recommended this as a flight/hike he and a co-worker had just done. We were only in the area for 2 days, so we wanted an experience to remember; we have been on a few other copters, so we were glad this ranks as one of the better adventures. We did the 6... More

This will be one of your unforgettable experiences of your lifetime. Forget the queue to walk on the glacier, see all the glaciers, waterfalls, glacier lakes and blue ice impossible to see from the road. We took the 55 minute trip and it was worth every penny. Julie

Despite having to drive 3.5 hours to get here, it was worth it!!!! The staff was fantastic, polite, knowledgeable and very professional. Thank you Shallon, Jose and Andre (our pilot). We were greeted with smiles and the staff show in their mannerisms, they love their jobs! After filling out the paperwork, we went outside to a platform which is a... More
