We stayed at a hotel in Playa Bonita and quickly discovered if you walk west, to the end of the road and around the point, the beach is wider with less wind and waves. This is where we spent HOURS everyday.

the beach, the sand, the ocean, the views are wonderful, the food that locals cook and sell directly on the beach is delicious. I'm afraid that construction of new condos will spoil this place. They are constructing some horrible condo complex there.
