We took this ATV tour with Melvin of Razor Tours. There were six of us, three couples, and we each rode our own ATV. I have taken other ATV tours on other Caribbean islands and this was by far the best I have every taken. In fact, this was one of my favorite excursions of all time. We were sailing... More

Melvin and his cousin/friend took my boyfriend and I on an amazing excursion to Playa Rincon on December 31st. They were AWESOME and even took time to stop at a Dominican house to show our group the lifestyle of a typical Dominican family. It was and will be the most favorite thing about our trip to the DR. We booked... More

The "Waterfall Cascada El Limon" tour was not as lovely as described on it's website. Positives:: The waterfall was beautiful and our guide was very kind. Negatives:: The "hiking" was just climbing muddy steps, the "horseback riding" over "hills and rivers" was wildly exaggerated, and "volunteers" guide your horse every step of the way. It should be noted that it... More

Came on shore from my Norwegian Dawn cruise ship who intentionally delayed all its passenger on private shore excursions. This result in many folks booked with Razor ATV tour delayed as much as 1.5 hours and not turning up. However Melvin and his staff waited patiently at the dock and being the first two guest and not let us waiting... More

We reached Razor tours by email, and got the reply from Melvin in just few minutes, and all set in less than 2 hours. The price is much cheaper than the one offered by our hotel and it includes the pick-up. The ATV tour is amazing , Melvin is a very nice and interesting guy. The beach is really beatiful,... More

I had never been on an ATV before in my life. With excellent instruction and a great deal of humour, Melvin and his crew had me laughing and driving down a street within minutes. The terrain itself was fantastic...pavement, off-road, hills, beach, etc. We covered it all. Playa Rincon was our destination and it didn't disappoint. It was beautiful there!... More

Went on the ATV excursion (5 hour). It was everything advertised and more! The other couple did not show up for excursion so it was us, Melvin (owner) and another worker- lots of one on one time. Did excursion with only us. Melvin was funny and a great guide. Felt safe at all times. Would book another tour through Razor!... More

Razor tours is a great way to spend a day (or two) in Samana. Took the half day ATV tour to playa rincon and it was fantastic. Melvin, the guide/owner is quite the character. He is warm, friendly and won't hesitate to crack a joke. I have taken 2 tours with him on separate occasions and would not hesitate to... More

Every time I come to Samana I book a tour or multiple tours with Razor Tours - they are definitely worth your time and provide an eye opening experience to Dominican back road culture and beauty. Also, if you like adventure (especially riding ATV off road) I'd highly suggest any of the atv tours. I've been on a full day... More

I planned way ahead for our visit. I looked through the cruise travel books and checked the Internet for each location. The map that Royal Caribbean had on the Internet showed two landmarks on it: 1. The Whale Museum 2. An arrow pointing to Playa Rincon beach. I was very surprised that they did not have a tour to Playa... More
