The organized part of this beach is nice because it has very nice chairs with cushions and umbrellas. It wasn't too expensive to have a chair and a coffee. Unfortunately, it is a bit to wavy because the ships pass by there to get to port. I had been to Naxos before Mykonos and I was spoiled by the marvellously... More

The beach is shallow and you can wade in quite a distance. It is great for kids as they can go in quite far without being at any risk. The water is crystal clear after a point. The beach is sandy and there are deck chairs and umbrellas for customers of local restaurants. Only negative - the car park on... More

We stayed at a nearby hotel and walked down to the beach for the afternoon. There were 2 restaurants where you could rent beach chairs It was chill atmosphere with lots of families. Nice to get away from the crowds of town and take in the beautiful view.

With a backdrop of gentle hills, olive groves and an unspoilt rural valley, Agios Stefanos beach is over a mile long and offers both shallow, flashing blue water, safe for children and a broad stretch of golden soft sand.

A glorious area of Kos. The beaches and restaurants are accessed by fairly steep paths but well worth the effort. Rent a beach chair and umbrella, and laze in the sun or swim out to the blue roofed church on the island. I didn't do this but I saw several people go and come, after ringing the church bell to... Beautiful beach Two sun beds and fixed shade €10 for the day. Food and drink brought to you from either establishment, depending on whose beds you sit. Just watch the entertainment when you sit third row back when the jet boat comes in twice a day, causes waves and floods all those on first two rows!!! Priceless x
