THis shop on Stonehaven promenade is very popular with visitors to the town and even local residents. Over 20 varieties of exotic ice cream from 'Gin and Tonic' to 'Peanut Butter'!! They also dispense a variety of coffees and for special occasions such as birthdays,, construct big fancy cakes with weird and wonderful designs.

Visiting my family in Scotland and was taken to this darling little beach side ice cream shop. Even on what I (as a Queenslander) would consider a rather cold and dreary day, the Ice - cream (with toppings!) was devoured very quickly. I can't wait to visit again. Will even pop in if it's snowing!

Ice cream on a cold, rainy, windy and foggy night? No. That would be madness. But with Aunty Betty ice cream always makes sense. Its worth travelling a distance to come here whatever the weather.

After munching our lunch at The Bay (fish & chips), we saw people coming out of Aunty Betty's with tempting cones of ice cream. I plumped for a scoop of peach frozen yoghurt & lemon/lime sorbet - two flavours I've never had a frozen encounter with (both made by Simpson's of Buckie). The peach was fizzing with flavour and incredibly... More

Dessert is always the best part of any meal anyway! Cones or cups with a variety of toppings. Lots to choose from! Be prepared to totally blow your diet here!

A retro sweet shop selling freshly ground coffee, occasion cakes to order, hot chocolate and best of all delicious ice creams. I have never stood in a 30 minute queue for an ice cream in the UK, but it was well worth the wait. Many flavours and toppings to choose from. Price wise not the cheapest but you have to... More

I have marked you so low to get your attention. I am a vet and in my opinion it is highly irresponsible of you to market and sell ice cream for the consumption of dogs (honest folks -they put dog biscuit on it!) One half of pets in the UK are clinically obese; half of these morbidly so. A human... More

Put simply - if you ever find yourself visiting Stonehaven you must go here. Well worth the long queue which will probably be outside! Enough said!

Visited Aunty Bettys yesterday during a walk along the beach front - we joined a line of folk - it took about twenty minutes to get served - but if you like ice cream it was well worth it. There is a wide variety of flavours - including a Turkish delight - it costs £2 per scoop but you do... More
