It is worth to go there!

Try to get a fresh coconut! It is awesome! And don't forget diving mask! There are interesting fishes in the water. And step in cave :)

Beautiful, with not a sole there. some seaweed but it didn't spoil it for us, there is a small cave in the cliffs behind were we saw some bats. We walked there make sure you take plenty of water.

This is a gorgeous beach, but there's a LOT of seaweed. Maybe good for snorkeling in some areas, but I have heard that it is a good place to spot sea turtles, since they come in to feed.

The captain told us that the beach was not at its best and he only went closer for us to view. It's a small, isolated area and has not been cleaned.

We went to Playa Madama by boat and absolutely loved it. I had read so-so reviews about it, but found it to be incredibly gorgeous, secluded and romantic. The beach and water were clean and picturesque. Stayed for an hour to swim. If we had more time, we would have hiked there on a separate day.

Another - along with Fronton and Rincon-must see beach within Las Galeras area, accessible by boat or by hike. Hidden and secluded upon small, picturesque bay. When we arrived it was just us and our boat captain. Ideal to unwind and relax feeling like in you own private paradise. I was told that this beach is nearly always empty...

The hike to get there is a long walk, but interesting, with lots of nature and agriculture. The beach is beautiful, but not as scenic as Playita or Playa Fronton. Bring your snorkeling mass, there are lots of fishes - at least as long as the is no fish restaurant :-(

We traveled to Playa Madama via a small boat on our way to Playa Fronton. On the day we were there the beach was very difficult to reach. The boat ride was a bit scary with very large waves and huge cliffs. The beach was small and covered in seaweed. It is definitely not a swimming beach. It was a... More

the stopped here in the way back from playa fronton (that is amazing btw) and we could not find anything special on this beach, it was full of algae and only a few people there, the rock cliffs on the left are beautiful, but if you are planning on doing the hiking down here I think you will lose time...
