I was in Avignon with a group of friends for a week-end in November. We rented bikes and kayaks to see the "Pont du Gard". The area is beautiful, Camille and Pierrot were very helpful and arranged the perfect dat trip for us. Wehad a picnic along the river and even took a unvoluntary swim!

At EUR 30 for each person, we rented bikes and a canoe. We made a reservation the morning of. They spoke great English and were very friendly. It looks like a family-run business. They chart out a path by bike to the Pont du Gard and then on to the canoe-departure-site. Our path was only 5 kilometers. Impossible to get... More

I rented a kayak to spend the day in the cool waters relaxing with the beautiful scenery. The staff was friendly and made set me up with all the gear I needed. There are options to bike up to the kayak starting point or take a van ride up. All went well and enjoyed the refreshing day. It takes about... More

Our hosts brought us to a walk in the nature ! In the evening of that day we went to the owner's uncle restaurant (at 3 minutes walking distance from Le clos) where the atmosphere is as good as the menu ;-) They shurely know what to suggest to their clients !

You can leave as early as 8:30, which is best imo. At that time there is practically no one on or around the river and the temperature is not too high. You can go beneath the beautiful Pont du Gard and look for fishes swimming in the Gardon. The people from Natu'rando were very nice and we were able to... More

We visited the Pont du Gard by canoe kayak on the Rhone river. Each Kayak can take 2 to 3 persons. The river is calm in this area and even if you never did it before you can manage driving it. The advantage is that you can make several stops and enjoy swimming in the water or get some rest.... More

I wanted to canoe under the Pont du Gard. I had an opion to rent a bike, was given a map and some ideas what to explore. I went up the hill on teh opposite bank, quite gravely road, but nice. Visited the museum at Pont du Gard (cheaper with a bike than a car), which I really enjoyed. Followed... More
