The sand dunes were lovely. It was not crowded. Our experience was quiet and relaxing. We rode camels to the dunes. And were served tea and the employees were helpful during the sand slide. Everyone was friendly and we will definitely be back next time we will come to jaisalmer

I had been to sam dunes in 1998 and it was empty and serene. This time i was shocked to see the amount of tents and the no of people. It was a market in the centre of the desert. The amount of tent camps are numerous, the service they provide was amazing since their no water or sewage facility... More

If you really want to see good sand dunes with ripples (untouched and less crowded), just drive your vehicle along the road further away from Sam. You can see lots of sand dunes unexplored, less commercialized, where you can spend quality time .

We went on our own and didn't book prior to our visit. So we got everything much cheaper i.e. the rides and food. Must visit place.

The place is comfortable and clean. There's not too much to offer for the price though. The performances unfortunately had an accident on the way to the camp and died on the road. Despite the loss the camp performers continued for the tourists which was very kind of them. Dinner was really awesome and delicious. The water is cold at... More

If you're going near this place, you must definitely go here. Take a 4km camel ride from a camel point. Immerse yourself in the serenity of the Thar desert. And the sunset is a sight worthy of mention. After the sunset, go to one of the desert resorts and see the cultural show. We went to the Rojani Resort. The... More
