Our driver and guide picked us up in a comfortable A/C vehicle in the morning when we got off the ship. We were supposed to be off earlier but did not get clearance to leave until 9:30 AM. The company did not ask for an advance deposit, even though their guide and driver had to drive over 2 hours from... More

Visited Yogyakarta for 3D2N and signed up a private tour package with JavaIndah-Tours.com. I did a Borobudur sunrise tour followed by a visit to Dieng plateau on my first day, it was simply breathtaking! Dieng plateau is a place that is not often visited my foreigners outside of Indonesia, and it is strongly recommended despite the long journey up the... More

A must-visit cultural heritage. Waking up as early as 3am was the right thing to do. It was an amazing experience.

This place is worth to be one of the world heritages. Can't believe that it was built by human, the structure was so complex and beautiful, which required very skillful artisans. From the peak of Borobudur, I can see the forest, mountains and attraction far away. It will be quite hard to explore the meaningful of Borobudur if you don't... More

When we prepared our one week holliday in Bali we decided to have one day trip in Java to see Borobudur. We booked a retour fly from Denpasar to Jogjakarta with Garuda Indonesia and we contacted Java Indah Tour & Travel Yogyakarta for the tour. Mr. Irwan from this company replayed directly to our inquiries and we decided to do... More

Not everyone has a chance in their life to do business in the middle of Java. But if you do, take an extra day at the beginning or end to visit the Temple on the Hill at Borobudur. It is an extraordinary temple site, built with skill handcraftmanship. It is worth taking a tour, as there is allot that you... More

"Boro" means temple and "budur" means hill. Which means "the temple on a hill". It a well maintained world heritage site compared to Angkor Wat. The latest entrance fee is IDR280,000. Price has increased by another IDR30,000 from last month. Before it was IDR230,000. Local only pay IDR30,000 to visit here. Is unfair but no choice. We did not go... More

A must visit if you are in Yogyakarta. Its a beautiful buddist temple. SInce this temple is listed under the UNESCO world heritage, the entrance free is a bomb, it cost me USD20 which is almost Ringgit Malaysia 100. Try to visit this on a weekday as i went on a Sunday and the place is super pack with tourist... More

Visiting this temple was the absolute highlight of my trip to Indonesia. It is such a special place that I feel so luck to of seen. When we visited it wasn't to busy so i think we were very lucky. We purchased the sunset tour which i highly recommend. It is worth the extra money. Around 5:30pm most of the... More

I am writing this primarily to recommend Mr Yunus Subekti (male) Cellphone : +6285743462870. I needed a guide who had intimate knowledge of Buddhism as well as knowledge of the art and sculpture at Borobudur. Mr Yunus with his great command of English and deep knowledge truly exceeded my expectations. I did the half day tour, and it came with... More
