A great temple for Vittal and Rukmani in Tamilnadu. Maintenance of the Goshala is remarkable. Only disadvantage is the seniors too have to climb a lot of steps. If there was a lift it would be helpful.

This is not a temple which has been passed on over generations as of now, it is a newly established and get into fame as people has to pass by this temple when you are moving around Kumbakonam temples. More of a ashram, new generation attraction than the culture and heritage of Kumbakonam temples. Place is clam, peaceful, quiet and... More

It was a very Beautiful temple at Kumbakonam, I have visited this temple with my mom as a part of our Holy package Trip. This temple was maintained well, it gave a feel like we have visited some North Indian temple. The main deity Lord Krishna was so beautiful. They have also maintained a KO Salai which was nice to... Temple is near Kumbakonam to Mayiladuthurai Route. Very well maintained. Once entered inside the temple there will be a feeling that we have come near "GOD" i.e in front of God Krishna. Near kumbakonam Valangaimaan is there. you must visit Mariyamman Koil and Poonaikan Samiyar Temple. Poonaikan Samiyar was a great "Siddhar". He was stayed at valangaimaan famous Doctor's house.... If you are planning to visit Thiruvidaimarudhur temple and Suryanaar temple, then Vittal Rukmini temple at Govindapuram should be a must on your itinerary. A beautiful Maharashtrian style temple right on the main road and if you have been to Thennangur Panduranga Temple near Kanchipuram , you'll love this temple too. There are 2 huge statues welcoming you at the... More

When you look at the temple tower from far away, you feel as if you are in some place of Maharashtra. The style employed in pretty similar to that. The system followed is good. We are allowed to get as near as possible to the Idol and even touch the same. The only issue which i feel is We are not... More

Nice quiet place out of the city in Govindapuram. Temple itself is nice and we are even allowed to touch the feet of the deities. They also have a very nice goshala (cow shelter)

Newly constructed by vittalapura samasthan. Its look like north indian cultures. Krishna avathar pandurenga temple is located on the mayiladuthurai main road from kumbakonam just 10 kms. Cow Shelter is very big from all over india. Very clean and neatness is welcomed by all devotees.
