We walked from benidorm centre to the cross on the hill, then we followed the path facing albir and just followed the path way, you can't get lost, all the paths have a yellow and white marks keeping you on track, this isn't for the faint hearted due to the steep climbs and the 483 meter cliffs on the right... hardest bit was walking to the start point - you are halfway up the hill by then, great walk, nice wide paths with plenty of rest points, we went 7.30pm and was nicely shaded, can bike, jog, take pushchair etc. views Amazing, a real highlight of my holiday

We did the hike to the old lighthouse tower on a whim. Though I wish we would have taken some water, it was a reasonable distance and the views were fantastic! We plan to do it again.

We have a holiday home just inside the Sierra Helada National Park boundary at the Benidorm end of the park. Stunning walks all over the Sierra Helada with well marked pathways and tracks, A walk up to old, stone look-out tower, affectionately called the "fort", on the Benidorm side of the Sierra Helada is an absolute must. Equally, the walk... More

This is a lovely walk either from the car park at the Parque Natural or from Albir if you're feeling energetic. The views are amazing both of the bay and the mountains. Although we've stayed in Albir a number of times this was our first excursion to the lighthouse and it was well worth it.
