Easy walk (for most), level paved path although some paths/steps lead off along the way to various view points. Approx 2.5km each way up to the lighthouse. Toilets at the beginning of the walk but none at the top. Several benches along the walk for a pit stop. Lots information boards explaining geography, wildlife. fauna etc

Every time we visit Albir we love this walk. Round trip to the light house is 5 km. You walk along a coastal path with spectacular views of the coastline and Calpe Rock. The information about the flora, geography and fauna add to the interest. Pls take plenty of water as there are no refreshments for sale once you are... More

Loved this walk to the lighhouse but disliked the cyclists coming down very fast and harking their horn for you to move

Have done this walk many times from our apartment in Albir. Easy walking as it is a wide tarmac path to the lighthouse. Great views from many points along the walk. Have seen Peregrines there in the past and other interesting birdlife. Worth doing the Ochre mine but that is steep and you need to wear something other than flip... More

Go early before it is too hot and you will be glad you did it. Easy walk not too steep. Fabulous views. Nice viewing points to stop off at. Interesting fossils in the rocks. We didn't realise we could park at the entrance so we had an extra walk from our apartment! Worth doing.

We walked from benidorm centre to the cross on the hill, then we followed the path facing albir and just followed the path way, you can't get lost, all the paths have a yellow and white marks keeping you on track, this isn't for the faint hearted due to the steep climbs and the 483 meter cliffs on the right... A short walk from downtown Albir (3 km) is a perfect hike to start your day. Nice view of the ocean and terrain. Paved path ends up at a light house with nice view. If you are alert you will see Red-legged Partridges and Long-tailed Tits to name two common species of birds...

A Try it, you will be glad you made the effort. walk to the lighthouse is a must when you are here. It is a 5k walk there and back, quite hilly and you need to take some water with you. The view from the top is amazing and if you are very lucky you may get to see some... More
