I'm still learning to surf and this beach is ideal. The water is shallow, the ocean floor is soft sand, and the waves (at least when I was there) are mellow. Great place to spend the day.

You can park nearby for cheap. Some food sold nearby. Several surf shops in the area for rentals. Surfing to the east side of the beach. Beach goers and body boarders to the west.
