It's a really fun place to explore. You can picnic on the rocks or in a grassed area, have a romantic afternoon gazing at the sea, or explore the nooks and crannies of the ancient rocks with your whole family. For the best experience park at the Information centre so that you can explore the village. Amazing for taking photos.... More

A must-see if you visit Nova Scotia. The gigantic rock outcrops are simply beautiful. Everywhere you look you get an amazing view of the rugged coast. The light house is veck a sunny dayry pretty and the whole area is very photogenic! But pick a sunny day.

Lovely views, however, it has become a huge touristy place with tour buses, restaurant and shops. I was here 50 years ago and it was a lovely, serene little spot. Now it has become very crowded.

This is a paradise by the sea. The lighthouse stands tall in all it's glory.. The waves beating against the rocks are like a relaxing spa. You gotta stay off the rocks close to the waters due to Rogue Waves.. A Rogue Wave is an unpredictable thing... It can be the most calm peaceful day there - then all of... More

What can you say about Peggy's Cove. Absolutely wonderful little fishing village (park by the visitor centre so you can walk through the village to the lighthouse). Standing on the rocks by the lighthouse and looking at the ocean as well the rock formations is pretty impressive. Lots of rock areas to walk and explore. In addition to the visitor... More

The scenery is amazing and it's true that the pictures doesn't do justice. But if I have to go back I would probably go early in the morning. During the day there's so many people( maybe high season) that you can't really enjoy to full extent the beauty of this place

Photos do not do this place justice. We actually arrived on a day when they were featuring local artists all around Peggy's Cove. So beautiful, don't miss the carving on the way out. Awe inspiring! Do not wear flip flops on the rocks, so stupid. Saw so many people slipping around in them, wear sensible shoes people!

A not to miss part of any tour to N.S. The scenery can only be called beautiful. The lighthouse tour was interesting. We enjoyed the bagpiper very much. We could not get over the idiots who ignored all the signs to avoid dangerous areas. Dumb.

Take the time to drive down to Peggy's Cove and experience a unique part of Nova Scotia. Wear comfortable shoes for walking on the smooth rocks to see the lighthouse up close. Very good gift shop and cafe, toilet facilities available. Just as you imagine Nova Scotia.
