I loved the Peggy's Cove Lighthouse - not necessarily the lighthouse itself, but the rocky terrain around it. The sound of the water crashing againts the rock on a beautifil sunny Nova Scotia day was amazing. There isn't much to do there except for sit down and just soak it all in (no pun intended).

I love this place, both times we have been its been lovely blue skies, and bitterly cold wind, frozen edges to the sea on the way there that looks like an alien landscape. Lovely to walk on the rocks, but don't be silly if the sea is rough keep off, people have been washed away. The shop is a lovely place... More

You can't go to Nova Scotia without visiting Peggy's Cove. It was what I had imagine all of Nova Scotia to be like along the coast, but nothing matched the beauty of this little town. Was surprised at how many people were walking up on the rocks, as I found it a little scary. We got there just ahead of... More

What a beautiful place! Made for epic photos. We spent the afternoon there taking pictures, having tea, visiting the lobster pots, and visiting the gift shops in town.

While people come to visit the Lighthouse, it is actually the whole area that is so beautiful. The rock formations surrounding the lighthouse are spectacular and it is wonderful just to sit and watch the waves breaking over the rocks. two words of caution - the rocks can be quite slippery so make sure you are careful of your footing... After driving for 45 minutes and we knew we would go and see this lighthouse and just add it to our bucket list but it was nice. The roads are quite curvey so if you get car sick, be careful. Once we arrived to walked up to the lighthouse and then spent a little time in the gift shop. We... More
