Peggy's Cove is the standout attraction of the Halifax region. Quaint town, lovely view, lighthouse, birds, Bay of Fundy, this spot has them all. Easily walkable once you arrive. Although many tours are offered combine we prefer to rent a car an combine Peggy's Cove with a drive on the Evangeline Trail. Much more to explore at a fraction of... More

My first visit to Nova Scotia had to include Peggy's Cove. It is a lovely little village, and blessedly quiet on a sunny November day. It was great to take photos without others around. I can't imagine how it absorbs busloads in the summer! It was a very quiet and scenic drive there too. We only had a latte at... More

I have a thing about lighthouses so you can take this review with a grain of salt. Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse lives up to my vision of a great lighthouse: It stands on a rocky ledge with the ocean crashing against the rocks during a high tide. It helped that the day we were there was an overcast sky with some... More

Peggy's Cove is a great place to visit,The scenery and ocean were breath taking, since the sea was rather rough the day we were there.

The day our tour motorcoach hit Peggy's Cove was the only foggy day of our entire ten-day Caravana Tours tour of the Canadian Maritimes. And yet, somehow, even in the October thick fog, it made the famed lighthouse and the ramshackle buildings surrounding the inner cove look even that more picturesque. The small village, wrapped around the small cove, is... More

Peggy's Cove itself is magnificent. Well, that's too big a word for such a little cove. But I used the photo for the cover of my digital scrapbook. The lighthouse is lovely -- you can photograph it from a distance and from many angles close up. Perfect for a selfie. Cute shops nearby. We were there is September and the... More

We were the only people there on this day in October, so we didn't stay around for very long. The views are nice and the waves on the rocky shore are exhilarating. The parking area is close and there are some, but not many gift shops around. The village itself is very nice and there is a cute little church... More

Visited as part of a tour. Had a lovely walk over the rocks, took lots of photos. Got to hold lobsters and wandered down to the cove. Considering its significance it's worth a visit but only for a couple of hours
