We were looking forward to taking our daughter on the Ferris Wheel and only had cash. They don't take cash. Disappointing!

The Harborfront Area is great at any time of day! From the ferris wheel to the wide variety of restaurants you could really experience a lot and not have to walk very far. With this said, I wish there were more shops/stores as it is a very tourist friendly area.

With family.enjoyed the weekend. Great addition to the region as it adds things to do by the river, which was badly needed. Wish that more visible police are present. The area is close to very high crime areas of Washington South east. Not recommended at night.but v beautiful during day

Great place for an all day visit - shopping, a variety restaurants, outdoor activities, and if you want to stay - several hotels inside of National Harbor.

Beautiful area on the eastern shore of the Potomac, just a few miles south of central Washington DC, almost across the river from Alexandria, VA. It is anchored by the Gaylord National Resort, a sprawling property consisting of a huge, very nice hotel and convention center. In the surrounding few blocks there are several more hotels, many restaurants, a marina,... More

This is a great place to visit. We only stayed 2 days but it was a fun get away. Good attractions. hotels, and restaurants. Very convient to Mount Vernon. You can stay in a hotel and park and walk wherever you want.

Great area for families! Plenty of shopping, restaurants, and activities. There is a Cirque Du Solei, small amusement area, huge Ferris wheel and water tours to take you just about anywhere.

Very pretty waterfront on the Potomac. Several restaurants on the harbor front and the walk down the piers is very nice for an evening stroll after dinner.
