I went here with a couple of family members for the afternoon after we had finished up at the Tanger Outlets. It was fun to explore the area, we ventured into a few shops, went into the Gaylord, and of course walked out onto the various piers. I do wish that the marina wasn't blocked off because we love getting... More

We spent an afternoon here with our granddaughter (age 2) who adored playing on the sandy beach area and running around the pieces of the Poseiden statue (whose arms, legs and face appear to be buried in the sand there). There is a huge ferris wheel which is a bit pricey to ride and a large pier to view boats... More

Where to begin? I came to the national harbor for a conference at the Gaylord National Resort & Confidence center. By the way, unless you are coming here for the same reason, I can't recommend coming here at all. This is a completly inorganic, man made, island-like area. The beach sculpture should be good enough to scare your small children... More

There are so many things to do here! Beautiful views, beautiful walks, the ferris wheel, multiple shops, restaurants and play areas. And when you use that up, you can take a ferry across the bay.

I just love the National Harborfront area. It is so beautiful. i love the calm water. There is a huge ferris wheel that you can get on. There are so many shops and restaurants to choose from. It's a great area to hang out and just relax in.

I tried something a little different this time when I went on a business trip. Instead of staying at old town I decided to stay in the National Harbor. The good parts is that you have a great area to do a little run without having to dodge people and cars. There is a limited number of restaurants and bars... More

It's like a small city in another world. There are many shops and restaurants just a short walk from the convention center. The view of the river is so nice and looking out is so peaceful. There is also a Starbucks in the heart of it.

Over the weekends I love to stay out side the water harboring Area, but at this time of the year (winter time), you can go through Gaylord hotel glass shield and still seeing the water via those glass while having some drinks or lunch/dinner/snacks while relaxing

My family had a great time walking around the harbor, riding the wheel, shopping and eating. Can't wait to see what else they build there!

First time coming here, enjoyed walking around and stopping in the stores. Great selection of eats and the outlet shopping is huge!
