Go to this place.....its really WOW. I drove my car in sea, experience was out of the world. Water is not that good compare to Goa beach but driving on the beach is a thrilling experience.

I was at Muzhappilangad drive in beach with all my family. We could not drive on to the beach due to heavy rains the day before had caused some destruction. But still standing there on the beach was an exhilarating experience. I have to visit again to enjoy the fun of driving on the beach.

Muzhapillangad Beach is touted to be the only drive-in beach in Asia. While the beach in general is quite average and is like the regular run-off the mill beaches found across all Indian shores, the highlight is the drive-in feature. We first, had our reservations, considering we've had multiple instances of our humble Maruti Ritz tyres getting stuck in the... More

a nice beach to visit - primarily due to the reason that it is a "drive-in". However, during our visit (May 2014) the sand was kind of loose and hence they did not allow too much into the beach fearing car could get stuck. We failed to take the right turn for the beach and ended up driving through the... More

It should be the dream of every adventure-loving human to drive through a beach...and if you are one among them, this is the spot.Located between Kannur and Thalassery in North Kerala, near to the small town named 'Edakkad', the beach has a pocket road as the link to the National Highway with the typical Kerala village views on either sides...leading to the... Never heard of a drive in beach. Got a rare opportunity to experience it. Fantastic moment. Nothing there to spoil your moment in the sun. Flat beach and a good photo-op.

It was just around the sun set.. the sea brightened with red over the sea rock with "symbol" that recollects the proletarian struggle in north Kerala. It was crowded with beach festival. However, the drive was stunning. The sand was storng enough to hold our SUV that went 1 meter into the sea. If you plan to visit the beach... More

We were lucky to have the beach all to ourselves and made the best use of it. The compact sand makes for a wonderful drive not to forget the view around. Not far from the highway, it is easily accessible. Carry your own food/ drinking water.
