When I say drive-in, I mean you can actually drive your vehicle on the sand. A very very long beach. I have been there quite a few times but have never been able to walk down the whole beach. Best time to visit is after four when the sun is not that strong. Presence of cops and lifeguards so pretty... More

This is one place where you can actually take your car to the beach and drive on the beach itself. Nice place to view sunset and sunrise. Try mussells fry , its awesome.

Muzhappilangad is an awesome beach with generally shallow waters where you can play. Visited it on a cloudy evening which started drizzling by the time we left (missed sunset). Don't expect any facilities at the beach like shops or restaurant. It looks like a hidden place. But worth an experience.

No Words to Describe. We just went to this beach on a drizzling noon on our way back from udupi, with half mind, whether to go or not . But decided to try. We took the right from the NH towards this beach and blocked in at railway crossing :-( , Really got irritated. But once we reached the beach........ More

Driving on the beach was fun. A long stretch of white sand and the water splashing by as you drive through was a different experience for me. The beach is crowded, so need to be very cautious while driving.

There are speed limits of 20Km/hr. But it is very difficult to resist the temptation to go at 80Km/hr, with water splashing either side.

Cars are for roads. Beaches are for sunbathing. Why would anybody want to stay here if there are morons driving up and down all day? Idiots.

We went there a little later in the day, so it was quite sunny. But overall, the beach was nice and would be an excellent place to visit in the early morning/late evening hours.
