Visited from calicut. It's about 1.5 hours drive from there to the beach. The beach is, as already stated numerous times in the other reviews posted here, ideal for those who like to have the new experience of what it is like to drive in sands on the shore without getting the tyres sink in the wet sand. One of a kind experience for us. Drive your car on beach at max speed of 20kms on this 4kms long beach. It is no doubt fun and safe to drive on sand n water but my concern is about damage to environment hence only 3 stars for this awesome beach drive.

I guess this is the only Driving beach in India , it was really great experience, the sand and soil here permit the vehicle to actually drive along the beach with the tyres splashing the water from waves coming . Amazing experince, brings out the kid even in old people :D

Heard a lot about it until I got a chance to drive through it. Amazing experience. Neat and clean beach. Family crowd along with singles frequent the place. Must visit if you happen to pass through that region. Enjoy splashing your car through the solid beach without any worry

Went here in the evening with friends and seeing the sunset was an unforgettable experience of my life. This is the only beach in kerala where you can drive your car, do not forget to wash your car properly after driving in this beach as the salt present in the water may erode iron parts of the car if you...
