Have been to the resort numerous times for holiday breaks. Always have a great time avoid summer time as it is silly busy. We tend to go either at the Easter school holidays or October holidays as ques for rides are tolerable for the kids attention spans. My wife had a zoo keeper experience on our last trip and she... We went to Flamingo Land today with our nearly 2 year old. We knew that the rides/theme park element would be closed with it being winter but this suited us as we were more interested in seeing the animals anyway. However...we didn't see a lot, they all seemed to be hiding away or taken out of their enclosure for the... More

We visited the resort in January, 2 adults but even so it was a nice day out. For children it must be lot of fun with all the rollercoaster, etc. Anyways, it's full of nice animals, we got to see the tigers having lunch and the sealion show which was a lovely experience. Even during winter you've got a cafe... More

The theme park is closed in winter so you only pay £10 per person ( think under 2's are free) to go to the zoo and we love it! We went last January and we have just been again. It's a lovely zoo, the enclosures are spacious and modern, we love the walkways where you look down on the animals... More

Not sure where to start on this one.. Flamingo Land compared to a slightly more extravagant version of a fairground situated on a 'zoo'. The rides were small and amateur looking. We are thrill seekers and normally visit Alton towers, Thorpe park, portaventura etc. However, we had been on the website and seen what was on offer and as we... More

I visited flamingo land with my husband and two children 11&5 and thought it was quite good, there were plenty of rides for my 5 year old to go on and there was also a small water park which both children loved. The food was delish and not too expensive, the queues were not too long. The girls loved the... More

I've been to flamingo land about 6/7 times, first few times I was young so can't really remember much but there is plenty of rides for little ones (3+) and parents can also go on too. Rides for adults are great, they have a world record for steepest incline ride and velocity is different as you're sat on pretend bikes.... More

Went with the girlfriend and it is easily the best park in the north. Roller coasters were great, log flume was great and all the animals are great, you do need a full day to get round it all so go early!

Been holiday in this fantastic resort since 1994 and have seen many, many changes throughout the years. We stay in Scotland and we usually private hire a caravan in the holiday village for the week. Its a place for all ages young and old! Staff are friendly and entertainment at night is great. Gordon Gibb, the owner, should be so... More
