My partner and I were staying nearby in a cottage and decided to visit for a day out. We were informed that it would only be the zoo part open with no rides but the £10 ticket price reflected this, when we arrived I was surprised to see how busy it was, parking was a bit of a nightmare as... More

Really good for days out with all ages of children and adults. The best food is in the pub/bar just as you go in. You'll pay a little extra but worth it. There's a canny little caravan park over the road to. Zoo is great

As an excitable young teenager, I would consider my summer holidays one of the most exciting times of the year. With places to go, people to meet and not having to worry about school for six weeks at all. And I can say that I was excited to visit flamingo land because I love some adrenalin here and there. Flamingo... More

We have visited here several times and find it quite expensive to enter but if you can find a discount voucher it makes it great value. There were very few attractions open during this visit because it was winter but still a great day out with plenty to do and see. The sea lion show is particularly good and the... More

It was a total waste of money. It's winter I understand that the whole park is not open. But why not open one part of park rather than bits here and there. There were no animals to be seen at the zoo because it was freezing cold and they were all inside. If I'd known at the gate I wouldn't... More

We visited here with out 4yr old and toddler during half term (Saturday), although it seemed busy the queues were not too bad, plenty of rides and things to see to keep our 4yr old amused for a good 4/5hours. Entrance price was reasonable however please bear in mind the larger rides are closed over the winter (not that it... More

Took two teenagers for a four night half term break. Stayed in a Boston Lodge, £400. It was gorgeous. Very modern, spacious, clean, warm and peaceful. Lots of home comforts, my double bedroom even had a walkin wardrobe before I got to my ensuite shower room! I knew the large rides park was shut, but got free entrance to the... More

Stayed here for a week with my family. The caravan was fine nothing special, but ok. Plenty to do for kids. At the fairground they're loads of bees and wasps they are very annoying. Good base to go day trips to as you are not that far from Scarborough and Bridlington. Would possibly go back.

Visited in a bright, sunny but chilly February half term. Strange queuing system which saw people go through the pay booths and then have to funnel through the shop. Not sure they expected it to be as busy as it was. Some good rides for our children (4 and 2), the queues were not bad at all except for food... More

Me and the wife took our 4 year old daughter and found plenty of suitable rides for her to go on. Plenty of food outlets. We didn't stay at park but would definitely consider it next time as the food places are open late and other things are available. The animal park was very nice to walk around. The whole... More
