We heard on trip advisor that the Gnome reserve was terrible so I wasn't sure. Then when we went we got gnome hats to look at all the gnomes! Some of the gnomes were funny and I enjoyed it! After we had lunch at a low costing cafe and played board games while we waited. After we had a long... More

A good novel idea, to try if your in the area for an hour. A very passionate owner with a wide variety of gnomes and wild flowers. Giving out hats to walk around the gnomes and a quiz in the wild flower garden were a nice touch. Probably more suited to older children than toddlers.

Cute gnome setups, but the wildflowers were really spectacular. I definitely recommend it if you're in the neighborhood.

great fun especially as you have to wear a hat so that you don't offend the gnomes, nice place to wander around then into the fairy garden where you answer a short quiz and count the fairies that you find.

I visited the gnome reserve some years ago while on holiday with my family. It was amazing, and it's not just for children!! Unfortunately we picked a quite rainy day, but somehow it really didn't matter, in fact it gave it an eerie feel, a rather gnome like feel. I took so many foto's because I wanted to capture every... Absolutely loved this place. It has a beautiful innocent and slightly eccentric air and is perfect to spend a few hours away from the hustle and bustle of the real world. The setup is very straightforward, gnomes placed throughout a wood and a trail around a wildflower garden but the four children in our group (aged 8 to 4) had... More

The gnome reserve offers good honest fun without a whiff of corporate influence. Owner-run with a lovely welcome, it's a world within a world, an escape from real life for an hour or two. There's plenty of parking and a menu of simple but tasty homemade sandwiches and cakes. We were there in summer and had lunch at one of... More

I'm not a gnome-lover on the whole, but this attraction is excellent! Very well put together, in beautiful surroundings, funny, makes best use of the natural environment - gnomes and rabbits hiding amongst tree roots....wonderful! The Wildflower Trail still had lots to see even this late in the season - would love to see it in Spring or Summer. Do... More

Came here on a holiday with a 9 and 4 year old who loved it. The place really appealed to our sense of humour with the compulsory gnome hats and very funny gnome set ups in the woods. We weren't expecting the wild flower garden so that was lovely surprise and I think we enjoyed that more than the gnomes... More
