very remote and quiet town with lovely view of the bay from our hotel, you really need to hire a car to see this lovely island, not many shops and bars if you stay at ole galleon be advised it is very steep to get down to the beach area but after a short walk to the next hotel which... More

We found this beach by chance on a day out. Its relatively clean, pretty and picturesque. The water was a bit too cold for our kids when we visited, but they had a fun day playing volleyball and running around. There were a few options for snacks nearby, but save your money by bringing a packed lunch. It's not a... More

A beautiful place nestelled between Cliffs and mountains , the beach is lovely but I have been lead to believe it is imported sand. The place has a lovely walkway where you can see Crabs sunning themselves and such amazing views. Like all of Gran Canaria lovely people and spotlessly clean. Really enjoyed this day out and watching the sun... More

This cove has quite steep shelving water which means that children who are unable to swim should always use armbands or other life preserves. Other than this and being aware of occasional off shore winds it is the ideal holiday beach. There are watersports available and shops close by. Thje sand near the water's edge is fine and clean and... More

This is a great beach, with pedal boats/canoes etc to hire. It is a sheltered sandy bay and was great for swimming. We visited in September and never found it crowded. there is also sun loungers to hire.

This is not the largest, or most well known beach in the area, for that you should check out benirras beach (especially when the drummers do their hippy rigmarole on a Sunday), but the San Miguel beach is a small hideaway that is worth a visit. Sunbeds and parasols are fine euros a throw for the day, but despite that... More

Beautiful mountain scenery. Beach and area kept very clean. Good restaurants and water sports. The caves are worth a visit spectacular. Put popcorn in the sea and watch the fish come up and eat it - Little train is a good way to see the area as it goes on the road. We travelled in October but there was still... More
