This is a good place to go for a short break from the beach. We went with our 10 year old daughter and had an hour's tour. There were plenty of monkeys in the area when we were there but one needs to realize that these are wild animals so there are no guarantees that they will be sitting in... More

the place is in desperate need of a 'facelift' went on a nature trail, lasted all of 20 mins, you can see the animals from a distance the few that are there to see !!! ...all in all very disappointing as there are more staff around than the wildlife !

This is so different to the usual wildlife one comes to associate with Kenya. The smaller animals need as much help and understanding as the "Big Five". We were shown around by a very helpful young lady Vet from France and one of the local keepers. The "monkey bridges" across the main road are an inspiration - we actually saw... More

This is not a safari. This is a place where you can learn about the monkeys in the area. How they live, what are the threats for them etc. With a small fee you get a tour around the trust and see what the trust is all about. Also there is a small nature trail. If you have the time... More

We are lucky at Asha Cottage to have the good fortune of having a troupe of 7 (the new baby included) Colobus monkeys as fairly frequent visitors/residents. Three of this troupe were borne on or around our grounds. We have deliberately retained the trees and bushes that the Colobus monkeys eat and live in and protected the canopy. The advice... More

The site is informational and has a nice walk through its own mini forest. Good initiative to help the Colobus monkeys in this way. We went there by Matatu and walked to the Colobus Trust. In the village we saw a guided tour on offer for $20, which is completely ridiculous.

The Colobus Trust is a charity dedicated to protecting the lives of the Colobus Monkeys. You can find heaps of information of their website and for those interested in the inner workings of the Colobus population and Kenyan wildlife societies and projects is a great experience. You are given a tour of the site, including an interactive room great for... More

nice i liked everythingWe did a couple of nice day trips like the snorkeling at Wasini and the Forest Dream eco-farm. If you want to enjoy your holiday in a beautiful place surrounded by nature and monkeys, than Forest Dream is an excellent choice!
