Description: Pilli Pipa is an accredited PADI Dive Resort under the name of Firefly...
Pilli Pipa is an accredited PADI Dive Resort under the name of Firefly Ocean Camp, registration number s22994. We have up to date diving equipment which is replaced regularly. We have excellent dive gear imported and replaced regularly. Contrary to what one reviewer, Roadsmoretravelled, November/December 2013, has falsely put on a review. He did not come on our dhow but was probably told by the Shimoni hotel he stayed at that he was going with Pilli Pipa. We do not dive in 1 or 2 metres of water and we do not have shocking equipment. If you want a wonderful diving experience with professionals, book with Harm Lutjeboer, Pilli Pipa Dhow Safari, PADI and Naui registered, dive base, Firefly Ocean Camp in Shimoni. Not based at Shimoni Reef Lodge. We also take snorkellers to the Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park for an exciting adventure followed by lunch at Pilli Pipa on Wasini Island.

This trip is super well organized and is an amazing day out. The whole day ran super smoothly, we were picked up from our hotel, driven to the port and then got onto the boat. Once done we were driven right back to our door! They provide wonderful food and drinks throughout the day. The staff are incredibly professional and... More

Mesmerising sea and just loved the snorkelling at the park. Though food options for vegetarians like me aren't much.

Thank you for your kind comments Sukritikhokher. We will certainly have to put more effort into the vegetarian food, sorry for the disappointment in that aspect, I think some days are better than others. Glad that everything else went well. Valerie More

In my opinion the best managed and organised way of getting to see the beautiful Kisite Marine Park for snorkel fans and divers. Very professional and friendly staff. Up to date snorkel and dive equipment. Excellent safety record and an absolutely delicious lunch on Wasini Island. Can only be recommended.

Aside from how wonderful the trip itself was, and how much fun we had, the staff were very very wonderful. I could not have asked for anything more from the perfect trip

Very friendly, informed, and experienced staff. Two snorkels (but variety of different fish could have been better on each snorkel) with lots of care to ensure safety. Saw interesting and colorful fish as well as dolphins and a nice lunch to end the day. Highly recommended.

Great snorkelling experience and lunch. We felt very safe with all the organization. We made all the arrangements by e-mail when we where already at Kenya. Everything was perfect. We liked very much the staff.

Thanks, we are so glad you remember our trip. It's true, we would like to lower our price but Kenya Wildlife Services take US$25 per adult and US$15 per child of three years, we also pay 16% VAT and 2% Tourism Fund. From the balance left to us we pay Income Tax and a myriad of licences and insurances for... More

SCUBA equipment clean, functional and appeared to be well maintained. Dhow ride out to the Marine reserve where some went diving, the rest snorkeling. Great morning on the water, then back to land for an amazing fresh seafood lunch.
