Great hideaway, but not quite top ten beach in the world as quoted in the Times. Great clear water but the beaches need some clearing.

This place is great! It is surrounded by undeveloped coast, so the beach is never over crowded. First time when I saw this beach, I had the feeling I would probably come back and live near it someday. The bay was directly in front of us, the water looked like a cross between dark blue and perfect, gently sloping sea... More

The beach is beautiful with crystal clear water and soft white sandy beach. The water doesn't get deep until much further in making it perfect for little kids. This isn't an rganized beach and there's no facilities so you need to bring everything with you (including food and water). It is very calm even when it is windy and other... More

One of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The natural beauty is unique. The sand is also beautiful and full with corals. There is also an ancient castle at the one end. This is the place where Telemachus was welcomed by King Nestor when searching for his father, Odysseus according to Homer.

Beautiful horse shoe bay ideal for snorkeling. Aphroditiy is purported to have lived in a cave on the south side of the bay. Good anchorage for day boats. Tends to be very busy and doesn't deserve its reputation as one of the top ten beaches in the world

An amazing place which we found by chance during our first stay in the area back in 2012. Since then, we come back every year. It is a beatuiful beach with shallow waters. No shops on the beach. The nearest one is circa 1 km away. Best take drinks and food with you along with your own shade. It is... More

Loved it! Crystal clear water and fine sand, beautiful scenery. Very natural beach, bring your own umbrella and sun cream is a must. Bring water and food as there are no beach restaurants on this beach.
