Not too bad..

Nice enough beach but compared to the hotel pool it wasn't all that! Worth a trip down once or twice but I've seen better beaches in the UK.

This is unusual for me, as I am reviewing just a beach,, which Trip Advisor asked me about. Here goes.. The so called beach woz at the bottom of a big hill my hotel was on, called the Grand Mediteraneo Resort & Spa. I used this beach twice, so I know exactly what I'm writing To put it bluntly..."IT'S CRAP".... More

The beach is rather small, but the view is wonderful. We liked to walk on the stone path along the shore, from the beach to the right. The water has a beautiful color, and all the rocks give an impression of a wild place, especially when the beach is deserted. Recommended in spring, when the season has not started yet.

The beach is dirty and small and there is nothing there to do and no place enough to walk. The stairs are crumbling and you can get your leg caught in between it.

The beach has plenty of loungers etc but it is full of stones when trying to get to the sea. It would be a good idea for anyone to take shoes you could swim in to get into and out of the water.

The area was dilapidated and consisted of a tiny shop, a bar and two tavernas. Everything else had been abandoned.

Hotel really nice, staff so friendly and helpful. Food above average. Never had a swim as water freezing everywhere.

We did walk across this beach to get from our hotel to the restaurant it wasn't a busy beach so nice for sunbathers to enjoy. Beach activities available like snorkelling, scuba diving and pedalos. I did not use the beach because I had my own swimming pool in my suite, but plenty of people did use it.

The beach is reached by funicular railway from hotel, free sun beds and waitress service. Towel exchange. Nothing to dislike.

Easy to reach from the few hotels scattered around the bay. Clean and mostly sandy. Walking into the sea is easy but beware the little shelf that drops down within a few feet from the surf. Nice for some gentle snorkelling at each side near the rocks but beware the rocks are sharp and the sea swell can knock you... More
