There are only a couple of good lodging options around - Seafront Cottages and the pricier Paradise Isle Resort - both sister properties. Food options are limited to either dining at... More

A place not to miss... Malpe beach has awesome sand, nice waves and shallow waters. You can go quite deep into the sea and yet not have the water level upto the waist. Lot of fun. Why go Goa, go Malpe!

It's near to manipal, so best place around to visit. Can't say completely clean, but definitely better than many beaches in india. A good place to spend 1-2 hours. They have camel ride, snacks counters. So definitely worth a visit.

This beach is more commercialized than Kaup beach in Udupi. Still this is a good beach to spend time. The beach is not very clean though. But you can find plenty of spots where people won't bug you, if peace is what you want. There are lot of shops around and hence the hustle-bustle is always there. I have heard... More
