This tiny island is easily reached from the mainland. A short ferry ride will see you in an almost isolated paradise with beautiful beaches and scenery. A truly wonderful experience.

Good place to visit except for the ride to island has taken long time as the tickets will not be issued until there are at least 30 person. Have to wait for tickets and also sometimes cancels the trip without prior intimation stating the wind is more.

This was a mind blowing experience. However, things could have been better if some professional body can be asked to manage such a beautiful island. Boats start from two places in Udupi - Malpe port and Malpe beach. Boat from port takes 150 INR, however from beach it is 200 INR. To avoid the hassle of changing the boat (from... More

Streamers are available from Malpe beach for this island. It takes about 30 minutes each way and we are given 1 hour to explore the island. The main attraction here are the natural rock pillars formed by volcanic activity 85 million years ago. Here too the place has been littered with bottles, plastic and waste. Wonder when we Indians will... More

I've visited several beaches (both national and international) in the past but this one stands unique. What a fascinating place .... especially stunning standing pillar shaped rocks made by nature but appears to be man made. Unbelievable pile of sea shells (Again not seen such a huge quantity of sea shells in any other beach). You can see sea/beach floor... More

20-30min boat ride from Malpe beach takes you to this awwsum beach/island. Adults are charges 200/- per head. Scenic beauty and shallow green/blue water makes it a awwsum photographic opportunity....Kids as well as adults would equally enjoy the 1Hr experience.
