Loved feeding the turtles and seeing the babies. The village and the marina was a nice little excursions. Starfish were awesome.

I love the visit to the Hatchery. Tony the operator is very friendly. We even got to assist in harvesting eggs from a nest on the beach and releasing hatchlings into the ocean.

My favourite part of the trip. Amazing what these guys do to help save the sea turtles. They let you feed and play with the turtles and you can see where the turtles are hatched. Please donate when you go there its such a good cause.

For $1 CUC to experience this is a bargain I also donated to this cause. You get to observe, touch and feed the turtles. They are amazing!

My sister and I loved experiencing the sea turtle hatchery! This was one of our favourite memories of our trip to Cuba. You get to hold and feed the sea turtles. They are separated by age, so you get to see the newborn sea turtles as well as big 5 year old sea turtles! Definitely a memorable experience. We both... More

Take a few hours and visit the marina and the turtle farm. They have mastered the art of turtle survival. The employee will also come to the hotel beach with baby turtles the people can release in to the ocean! I had the luxury of meeting Octavio, the creator of this turtle farm back in the late 90's & early... More

informative as it contains various tanks with age progression of turtles . Very small though but at least they are doing their share to help preserve the species

After watching documentary Turtle the incredible journey I became obsessed with turtles. One of the reasons why I visited CL was the Turtle Sanctuary. I did some research and found out there is always shortage of food for baby turtles. Prior to visiting Cayo Largo go to your local pet store and pick up turtle food. Last time I went... More
