~~~ Beautiful beach. A must see :) Bring your own soft cooler for a boxed lunch from the hotel and some water. The loungers are not in the greatest shape, but they serve the purpose :)
The beach and the sandbar were beautiful. You can walk from the edge of the beach to the sandbar and leisurely stroll along the sandbar. The lounge chairs are few and are pretty crappy. But the scenery is stunning.
If you have kids, this is the beach for you to go to. It is super shallow and you can walk out for ever and it never gets deep. There are little fish swimming by your feet in very clear water
My favourite beach is latest casualty of global warming, shifting sands, high tides and rising sea levels. Sand is gone to an alarming rate, new peninsula is closing in on the beach, few palm trees are gone as well as few trees. I was there in late October and early November 2014 and whole place is hard to be recognized... More
Talcum powder sand with water the bluest of blue. Absolute heaven. The serenity of the beach is mesmerizing. Go early in the morning as the Palapas go fast and shade is a must or go later on in the day to ensure your shade. Bring some drinks, you'll need them. There is a bar on site but it can get... More
Every visit we find a new sand pattern to explore. Neighboring Punta Mal Tiempo is a favourite as an impromptu clothing optional beach for walking and swimming.
The first stop the tram makes on it's way to Sirena. It is very tranquill. Watch out for the small thorn/burrs while walking around .
