The view across Tiradentes is beautiful. If you plan on hiking the Sierra Sao Jose you can stop on the way there (from centro). The chapel itself isn't that interesting.

Tiradentes is one of the smallest yet best preserved colonial towns in Minas Gerais. In Sao Francisco de Paula you will find the nicest views of the city, from a hilltop.
