When I planned my first skydive about 3 days before coming here, a lot of research went in. I was reading so many articles, recommendations on views and ofcourse tripadvisor. Queenstown was considered the most beautiful drop zone within new zealand, but the costs were high, and the reviews showed that theres a million to one chance the weather will... More

Here's what you need to know: 1. The scenery is *nearly* as awesome as sky diving on the West coast near the glaciers. Lots of coastline, beaches, mountains, etc. Stunning! 2. The staff here is incredibly professional, friendly, patient, etc. Even though I know they were sticking to a tight schedule, we didn't feel like we were rushed at any... More

I had intended to do a skydive for some years. We had a let down at Queenstown so postponed until we got to Motueka area. Good decision. Very impressive and professional bunch. I had no comparisons to go on so have to judge just this one experience. I had thought the landing might be the worst bit - not at... More

Had an absolutely amazing time at Abel Tasman Skydive. The staff were wonderful, very friendly, informative and enthusiastic. They talked you through everything and everyone from the tandem masters to the photographers to the receptionists and parachute packers/ equipment people were really kind and seemed to love their jobs. The jump itself was incredible with breathtaking views and the photography... More

The guys from Abel Tasman Skydive are an amazing team. We felt save every minute of our stay from the warm welcome, the preparation and the flight up there to the most stunning part: the jump. We can highly recommend the 16,500ft jump and if you do it go for the camera package. The video you get is perfect and... More

We did not plan on sky diving while in New Zealand, but since one of other planned excursions was cancelled the day before due to weather, we found ourselves in Nelson, NZ with a few open days. On a whim and recommendation from a local bartender, we rang Sky Dive to see if we could get scheduled. It was after hours,... More

I would like to start by saying a massive thank you to all the staff at Sky dive Abel Tasman, in particular Kevin who took me sky diving.. Being slightly afraid of heights and not the worlds best flyer, I was worried about doing my skydive, so decided it best I go right up to 16500 feet.. But I need... More
