This place has some huge tortoises, and you can go sit and touch them, and an amazing insect museum some monkeys and crocodiles that's the best part of the park, all the rest is regular. There is a restaurant that serves crocodile meat too 👀

I never had the opportunity to interact with giant tortoises and it was something I'll never forget. Petting an iguana was also very special. I recommend the free 30-minute guided tour.

On the positive side it was good to see so many giant tortoises roaming about in a larger area than we'd seen before, and being able to feed them for an additional MR200 per branch. The rest of the nature park was more like a zoo, with almost everything, other than the fruit bats, having been imported.

We visited this park to see the crocodiles not knowing how much more there was to see. The giant tortoises were amazing, I had never seen so many in one place and certainly never stroked one before. The whole park is beautifully kept, very clean and peaceful. The animals all look very well cared for and happy in their environment.... More

My wife and I visited this amazing park not knowing really what to expect, we were not disappointed. Upon arrival we were met by a guide whom informed us that if we would like to return to the entrance at 1pm he would give us a guided tour with the history/information about all the animals, this we did and that... The purpose of this park is mainly to breed animals that are almost extinct on the many islands around Mauritius. This gives the visitor the unique opportunity to see different kinds of turtles - and to feed them!, crocodiles, fruit bats, lizards and other animals of this area. There is also a very impressive butterfly collection. Even if the weather... More

We visited to see the giant tortoise. There were at least 50 walking about freely in a large enclosure. They particularly liked the leaves you can purchase to feed them. Great experience to handle and feed these giants. The rest of the park has other wild animals to see and it takes about 2-3 hours to go round.
