A fantastic sight and a lovely walk

We parked in Lillaz itself and followed instructions in a guide book to follow the walk, but it would probably have been easy enough without those. The circular walk took around... read more

We parked in Lillaz itself and followed instructions in a guide book to follow the walk, but it would probably have been easy enough without those. The circular walk took around an hour and a half at a gentle pace with time for photos included. The falls are spectacular and the walk has a little bit of challenge in it... More

Short distance from Cogne, in the small village of Lillaz, you park the car in the main parking lot at the entrance. You cross the bridge over the torrent and after a short walk through the village you get to the park entrance. In the entrance geological signs in Italian and some rocks. An easy path along the torrent that... More

Easy to reach location - about 5-10 min past Cogne, and just park at the town parking lot. Walt about 15 minutes and you are at the bottom of the waterfall. Paved pathway and easy for all ages. More adventurous ones can climb all the way to top of the fall (we did not do that but probably should have... More

A beautiful and impressive waterfall. Clear waters fall down from tall ricks collecting several streams from the surrounding valleys the water is very clear and transparent also in summer when the melting ice of the glaciers makes white the water of the mountain creeks

The best thing I've ever seen! Be ready that this adventure takes 6 hours to the way up and back. Take some water with you becouse it's hard to find any store arod there ,by the way, be ready that night comes very fast, so don't stay on the cascade after 8 p.m

This is not to be missed. A relatively easy walk for anyone moderately fit albeit steep in places but the scenery is fantastic. The waterfalls are very picturesque and cooling the feet at the bottom of the top waterfall reinforces how cold the water is coming straight off the mountain

The village of Lillaz is pleasant spot to stop for a drink or a bite to eat and the walk to the waterfall a pleasant one.The waterfall is well worth a visit but we felt that the view from the bottom and the climb to the top was not really warranted. Don't forget the camera!

It's only a kilometre from a car park some 4 Kms from Cogne. The whole area has been really excellently landscaped for walking, good information. When you get near the falls stones are slippery and in some areas it's steep so children need to take care.

When they are frozen they are brilliant to climb on, but a little busy when fresh snow fall rules out many of the other cascades.
