In July we made our second visit to Pico with CW Azores to build on a very enjoyable experience in May 2009. Our key interest is in scuba diving and underwater photography and in May 2009 we had on dipped our toe in the water and had enjoyed the island, the people and the overall experience.

Until this holiday i had never used any package trips and was wary at the start. I was really fortunate with this company as the whole trip was magical and this was also due to the location and the time of year (first 2wks of May) that I went. We had a family holiday for 12 days on a package with whale watching and dolphin swimming. We are experienced travellers and I can honestly say that this was the worst holiday of our lives.
The accommodation was not as described on the web site and we were initially put up at whale watching lodge. It was dreadful- no heating...
