Warm water, abundance of fish, all very good. Amount of coral a little lacking. But the diving was really good. Thanks Cabo Pulmo Beach Resort. Claudio and Laura were great dive masters!

You can enjoy it simply by snorkling from beach, or by diving. And the beach is absolutely gorgeous beyond belief. The abundance of fish seen during diving at times is astounding, as compared to those in kelp forest in California or coral reefs in Fiji.

Stunning vista, friendly people, nice restaurants, wonderful atmosphere. Really nice lodgings. No city electricity. Get there before the new road around the cape is completed and it becomes overrun by tourists like the Cape did

Between the two big hurricane's in 2014, I stayed in Cabo Pulmo with my son. What a beautiful place, this time we saw flying rays, sea lions, humpback whales, dolphins and more fish then can be mentioned.

Loved the scuba diving experience. Although i wish we could have dived the upper reefs as i read they have more interesting and bigger marine life.

The sea life has gone up over 400% because of this reserve. Just beautiful. Will never bother with Cabo San Lucas again. This is the place to be. But not for those looking for luxury. This is the real deal. Be prepared to sweat and walk. Lovely diving. I've never dived with such enormous schools of fish. It was magic.

Anyone who likes to dive or snorkel will love this place. Unfortunately, it's a little hard to get to; about and hour and a half north of the airport at San Jose and the last 10 km on dirt roads.

Cabo Pulmo is a marine preserve about 1.5 to 2 hours from Cabo San Lucas, depending if you drive like a local or not. We were there for our first, amazing diving experience with Thierry of Mar y Sierra. The sea life was awesome and abundant - we even saw a sea turtle! The water was unusually warm from El... More

During my dives at this preserve, we ran into the park rangers and they were pretty serious about protecting this ecosystem. They were doing their due diligence by checking our wrist bands (paid park visit permits) and making sure only a small number of divers went below. My understanding of it is that certain parts of the preserve is only... More
