They said that CYC was a victim if illegal quarrying of sand and I also observed that there were a lot of trash in the island especially along the mangrove area. The water was clear but the remaining sand makes the island less appealing. There are also excessive seaweeds and there are jelly fish. I just wish the local tourism... More

This was our first stop during our 5-day visit to coron. The place was very nice to enjoy the sun and the beach. It is also a nice place to relax and just wander the beauty of nature. Stroll along the beautiful white sandy shores or even bask under the sun.

Some people like to swim here because of the shallow waters surrounding the island, but what I liked best is going snorkeling around it. Because of the shallow water, I was able to approach the corals, seaweeds, and fish to take a closer look. You can also swim farther off to get a view of the coral forest in the... More

I expected the beach to be dirty because it was a public beach. But surprisingly, it was clean. Go there when it's off season so you can get the most of it. I just feel bad for CYC beach because I learned from out tour guide that part of the white sand was stolen (by a politician for his private... More

We stopped over for a swim and relaxation at CYC beach... but besides the crystal clear waters and snorkeling... there's not much activity in the area unlike the rest...its good for 30 minutes stay

I am actually not sure what is the attraction of this place. Although there were some people who sun bathes and I think the beach was white, the water near the beach (shoreline?) was very rocky and you have to be extra careful walking or you may injure your feet. There were mangroves around so maybe you can also take... More

I remember seeing 2 dogs serenely watching us side by side as we swim. Our tour guide says the dogs come from the opposite island, swimming back n forth before the day ends. The beach is very nice. Good to know that this place is still open to everyone.

Very nice first stop to an island hopping trip. You can also snorkel here and watch the marine life below. There is also a white sand beach for sun bathing or photo sessions. Be wary though as there is a sea snake, locally known as walo-walo, in this area.

Part of the Coron Island Ultimate Tour. Stopped here first, small island, swam a bit.  Didn't really see much.  In retrospect, the other islands were much better (like Malcapuya and Pass Islands)

I love the mangroves that grew around the island....and like most of the islands in Coron, the beach have powdery white sand, spectacular view and crystal clear water...since beach is only small strip there no any commercial activity at all so one can happily enjoy and commune with nature
