Woke up at 4:00am just to trek the almost 800 steps going up. We were on top before the first ray of sunrise hits the giant cross on top. What a view! Never to be missed if you visit Coron! More

After all the snorkling you gotta do something on land! This is a good way to burn some calories and find out if you can climb up. Don't worry there are rest areas if you want to stop! We met teens who sold cold drinks at the top and they would carry theses heavy ice boxes up and down Mt.... More

Climbing the Hills in Coron is good for your health, you must walk up to 700 steps to reach to top, along the way the views are fantastic yet very calm, needs a set of strong feet and rubber shoes, upon reaching the top you will see a big Cross and there are 2 alternate road to 2 oposite hills with a small nipa... It has a very nice view over Coron Bay and the climb is worth it. There will be little boys that climb up the hill and sell bottled drinks there. Enjoy the view while you are there. It is really nice. More

You need to climb up 724 steps to get to the top of Mt Tapyas - it was really hot on the day that we decided to climb up and I did find it a bit of a struggle because of the heat, so I would definately recommend doing it early in the morning, or later in the afternoon when... More

A mountain w/ 765 steps in it. Although I only got to 50 steps of this great Mountain. It was a fulfilling task to pursue. More

The view is breathtaking! Very much worth the 700+ step climb! However, the steps have vandalism. The local government should really do something about that. More

We really didn't climb it because they said that its more than 700 steps in order to reach the peak. It looks nice from afar because we can see it in our place "Sunz en Coron". It's nice at night because the cross is lighted. They said you can see the whole Coron town if you are up there. More

If you love the stair master, you'll have a grand time climbing the 700+ steps to Mt. Tapyas. It took us about 20 minutes to reach the top with a few stops to rest and take pictures of the beautiful view. Make sure to bring water... but just in case you forget, there are ambulant vendors selling water and gatorade.... More
