It was very beautiful visiting it after the long and exciting drive from the south across the mountains - the ocean waves are great to look at and to listen to. Nearby it is a great bar Playa Casa Africa with a delicious octopuss. Be sure not to drink too much wine if you have to drive back across the... More

Really amazing view, you can walk along the seaside but will be very hard or impossible to swim due huge waves.

We had a shower of the waves, it was the most funny thing. But be careful, because it can be really dangerous, especially for children as the waves can flow you to the see. My husband lost his glasses because of the wave :)

I just loved it! A short walk down the hill and you will reach a lovely beach of Benijo. Not really a tourist place, no sun umbrellas or sunbeds, but a great feeling of ocean and its power. Suset here is just amayzing. This is one of the best beaches on the island and an absolutely must see destination.

Really nice scenery we did as part of a island tour and found this to be one of the most attractive areas well worth a visit even if just for a quick photograph

Really nothing to say! Perfect scenery. Really worth to drive across the whole island to see it! The road to there is one of the best scenic roads I have ever been.

Beautiful volcanic (black) sand beach with impressive rock formations. Best beach I visited in my Tenerife-La Gomera-La Palma trip in August 2015. Waves are quite strong and hence not ideal for swimming, but the surroundings are well worth the visit. Beach was not crowded, mostly Spanish tourists, some nude bathers, dogs are welcome. Access through steep staircase.

It's still unspoilt and luckily of the beaten track of bretons and other package tourists. Good for lovers of rough seas and landscape. Yet long and dangerous drive. Not recommended for flat land inhabitants. 😉
