Popped in to see the Christmas craft fair and a spot of lunch with the old lady. Firstly the cafe was up and down due to a problem with the power - but the staff soldiered on! Good food, nicely presented! The surprise was the craft fair. I expected a load of chintz and rubbish - nope, all very high... More

Had a lovely day. The Christmas Theme was superb and the Hall looked fabulous. The guides were both knowledgeable and friendly. Will definitely return next year.

A very beautiful house inside and out with wonderful discoveries to be found within, don't miss a single room. Enjoy the art, the views and the varied decadent decor. They were incredibly conscientious of my 90y/o Grandma who was lent a wheelchair and given guided use of their stairlift and they allowed up to take easier routes around the house... More

Yesterday a small group of friends visited Burton Constable Hall to do the 'Cobwebs and cream tea tour'. Unfortunately the weather was poor, so we saw little of the grounds but the cobweb tour was wonderful. We saw many areas of Burton Constable Hall that are normally out of bounds. The roof top which mean't we had to climb a... More

Despite only living only a couple of miles away from Burton Constable Hall for the past forty years the only visits I made were to one of the many events held in the grounds, my favourite being the classic car shows, my first visit to the actual hall was only last year, this was to see the Christmas tree I... I had an opportunity to visit the restaurant at Burton Constable last Sunday for lunch, we all had different lunches but all were beautifully cooked and we enjoyed the surroundings and pleasant staff.

We were up in East Yorkshire & suddenly realised we had time to do a bit of "culture". We'd sort of heard of Burton Constable but that was it. What a find. The best way of describing it is using one of the write ups in one of the rooms "a fusion of styles". Once upon a time it was... More

Last week I had an amazing afternoon tea with some friends. When it was brought out we thought that one cake stand full was enough for two. Very surprised we got one each. We had lovely sandwiches, delicious sausage rolls, quiche, large piece of cake home made scone with jam and clotted cream and a small trifle. There was that... More
