Beautiful beach but beware that cars are constantly broken into, especially at sunset. While Park Rangers are quick to write a parking ticket or tell you you cant set in your car with it in park waiting for a parking space they or patrolling the beach, they do nothing stop the breakings.

This is a beautiful beach with lots of information about wildlife and sea creatures. However, the park ranger is not very nice to children. She was very harsh to our children while we were taking pictures.

Had a lovely visit once again a year later to barefoot beach! Easy to get too...love seeing the tortoise munching. Find yourself a spot and enjoy the warm see and wonderful weather. If it like to look for shells this is the place. Hopefully be back next year!!!!

nice powder sand, no surf and we found/played with 6 starfish which was a lot of fun for the children. But only bathroom was a small outhouse style and one set of showers that was located at front of park made it inconvenient to clean off. For same parking price ($8/day) and really same beach area I would recommend Bonita... More

At first, we thought we were lost and almost turned around at the security gate. "Not at all", says the guard, continue down the red brick driveway, past the 5+ million dollar homes and you will arrive at the parking lot which is an affordable flat rate $8. Watch out for crossing turtles, they are not shy. Like seashells? this... More

This is a quiet beach off the beaten path. Relatively undeveloped, no traffic noise, no loud music. Great for walking! Lots of wildlife sightings - dolphins, osprey, gopher tortoises, etc. fishing is good on the Wiggins Pass end.

My son and I went here to relax before school started again. We arrived at the beach around 10ish. It was the perfect time because we parked in the first parking lot and had a quite morning. The beach is nice just, not what I am use to. I am use to the east coast where there are waves and... More
