I traveled to Saint Martin September27 -oct4 2014 we took a ferry ride from Marigold to Anguilla. For 2 people it was about $100 in total after paying for ferry /cab to and from beach. This beach is one of a kind. It is quiet/clean and simply beautiful. There are no re sorts nearby. There are smalls waterfront places to... More

We have been to Shoal Bay East 6 times. There is a Shoal Bay West, one beach over from Cap Juluca, so don't get them mixed up. It is my favorite on the island because of the beautiful soft sand, fairly flat water entry that is framed by a coral reef, and generally modest surf. There are several fun bars... More

Anguilla was beautiful, laid back and the people were very pleasant. We went to a beach bar called Sunsets on Shoal Beach and we had a great beach day. This was a stop over with a small cruise line.

Shoal Bay is one of the best beaches ever to see. You can take a 20 minute speed boat ride from the Island of St Maarten. This is a must see beach with the coral coming right up to the beach and crystal clear waters for snorkeling. This area of the Island has no major gift shops or stores and... More

I visited Shoals bay on the beautiful island of Anguilla as part of a catamaran trip. We spent a few hours touring the island and swimming, snorkeling on Shoals bay. Had lunch at restaurant there, you can rent umbrellas, didn't need, never left the water. Words cannot describe this beach, white powdery sands, warm, tranquil crystal clear water. Visited in... We were there at the end of August and the beach was empty! It was like having a private beach. We went there on a catamaran from st. Marteen called Sugar Ray. It was a great time! About a 20 minute sail there, then a 20 minute taxi ride, then spent the day on Shoal Beach--- snorkeling around the reefs!... More

This beach stole my heart! We were staying a week in St. Maarten and decided to head over to Anguilla. The ride on the ferry was worth it! It was a short 25 minute ride on the seas but once you get there lots of taxis are waiting to take you wherever. Our driver chose Shoal Bay and I'm happy... More

This beach must be experienced to be fully appreciated. This beach was chosen as one of the best beaches in the world by Travel Magazine for a reason. Must see no picture depict how beautiful it is. If you are staying on ST Marten, Anguilla is only a 20 minute ferry ride away. Need to hire a cab to get... More

This was probably the most incredible beach on the island. We went 2 different days. Island Carousel Hank's Seafood Restaurant & Bar served a great snapper and frozen drinks. The lounge chairs out front are free with drink/food service. We also had a frozen mojito (very delicious) at one of the local beach stands next to Hank's.
