We left our hotel at 5am, we reached white island around 530am. It was beautiful, we saw the sunrise and the island was practically ours for about 10-15 mins. then all of the other tourists came. But, the island was not crowded at that time. There are people selling food, sweet potato, bbq, fish, and the most important... Sea Urchin.... More

The white island is around 10 minute boat ride from the shores of Yumbing. The boat ride in itself adds to the thrill of the trip. You will enjoy seeing the clear water change from a shade of dark blue to lighter blue and then blue-greenish hue as you come near the island. It is nice to go swimming as... More

I like this island because of this unparallel backdrop, seeing month Hibok hibok contrasting the azure sea and the white sand is picture perfect. It so sureal also I love the water and the waves, awesome. However, I dislike the sand there as it is coarse and it also had some coral stones are evident in some part of the... More

When we went to White Island, it was raining with waves bigger than their small boat. I hate boat rides and upon seeing the small boats and knowing it would go against the big waves visible from the island i got scared plus im afraid of swimming. So we boarded the small boat which can only just accommodate upto 4... More

The place is peaceful and the water is so clear! You can do a little bit of snorkeling. Goggles will do because there's not much to see in the water except for tiny fishes that are still fun to look at.

ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT. You can't have visited Camiguin without going to White Island. Apart from being beautiful in itself, being here provides you the best view of the whole island of Camiguin. But, try to avoid coming here around noon time on a hot day. Either go there early in the morning, or be there in the afternoon. If you... More

A must place to see in Camiguin, one of the very few good spot to sit back and relax under the sun, but gets a little bit crowded as the sun comes up. Directions: From Mambajao it's easy to get there, you have to ride a tricycle cab (P10.00/Person) to get to Brgy. Yumbing where the Ferry Terminal is located,... More

Camiguin is our favorite escapade. We always go here every year since 2007 except for 2010. I always worried that the white island will become smaller but it withstand the time even how many storm has already passes the country. It will become too hot so go there either morning or late afternoon. The water is clean and pristine, the... More

Be there the earliest if you can, around 5am, the Island can be crowded especially on-peak season. You can bring your own food as the food sold in the island are much pricier.
