It's just a sandbar. It's visible during low tides. It could disappear during high tides. No trees or restaurants or cottages. Some people rent out a beach umbrella for a shade. This island offers snorkeling but not as good as Mantigue Island.

The White Island is quite accessible, esp. from the hotel resort that we stayed in(Dreamland Resort and Hotel). There are boats that you can reserve in advance so that you can go there first thing in the morning. The boat owners are quite helpful, they will require you to wear a vest for protection. Boatride ranges from 500-600php so its wise... More

Visit the white island early in the morning because part of the island is submerged during high tide. :)

I visited the island with friends way back June 2012. Going there was part of the day tour. It's about 10-15 minutes away from the main land. Better go there early morning (while it's not that hot yet) to see, feel and enjoy the pristine white sand bar. Take pictures with Mount Hibok-Hibok as backdrop. You can also try the... More

We went to camiguin as part of our school trip. One of the highlights was coming to this so called white island. From our resort we went there by jeep, which is the customary transportation in the island, and from the main land we could already sight the small strip of land just floating there by the sea. You can... More

Wednesmorning, First Week of September. SEVEN WORDS: White Sand, Aquamarine Seascape, Snorkeling, Dazzling Beauty. All that aside, this trip was a little surrel. Since Camiguin doesn't have its own white strand beaches, there is a chance to ride a pump boat for 1000p + rent Snorkels and Life Jackets for an additional 100p each, then ride for about 15 minutes... We went here before going back to CDO and the place is really amazing, it is an island with nothing but white sands. You will need an umbrella here in case you decided to go here at noon. The best time to come here is during morning when the sun is only about to rise. You can also try the... More

Awesome vistas, crystal clear waters, great snorkeling, no rip-offs by boatmen, perfect tan and barely any people. One of the top spots on Camiguin
