I always visit Camiguin with my family, every Holy Week we spend our time in the beautiful island of Camiguin last April we had a tour around the island wherein white island was part of the itinerary and as always we enjoyed the scenic view of the place, quiet relaxing and peaceful. My family enjoyed swimming but because we had... More

I suggest to visit the island earlier morning and go swimming until 10 am. No shade in the island. You may bring huge umbrellas or rent a tent if available. You can do picnic and cook barbecue. Bring back your trash to the main island. Observed cleanliness. You can do snorkeling and sun bathing. Snorkeling gear are 150 pesos per... More

I've been to Camiguin a couple of times before and I always visit Camiguin's famous White Island. Best time to go there is at dawn, it gets very hot on the island when the sun is up because there are no trees, just a sand bar. One word to describe white island, AMAZING! (a sandbar that forms a letter "C"... More

It looks pristine. Especially when you look down at it from -say- the Hibok Hibok volcano. It's absolutely gorgeous to be there during the sunset. But honestly, for the rest it's nothing. There's nothing there. There's only sand. There's not a single tree. During the season there may be some little tents of locals selling some stuff, and fishermen dock... More

Was in Camiguin last May 28 to June 3, and one of the best I've been when i was there was when we were in the white island, though we did not stayed long because the place is so hot, no trees just sand bar. But when you're there the view of Camiguin from white island is awesome and the... More

The best time to go there is at dawn so you would be able to catch the sunrise. And also that you will not be burnt by sun rays around when it is late already. The island is a pure sand without any trees, buildings or infrastructure so it is better to bring something to cover you and apply sunblock... More

Go there late in the afternoon. Catch the last boat if you can, around 4:00 pm....they head back at 5:30 This is the best time to enjoy the sunset... At mthe sand bar, enough time for a quick dip, some snorkeling and picture taking, without those umbrella-rental-boys bothering you because you went there at mid-day.

It's amazing how it is just a strip of white sand. You need to take a 30 minute boat from Camiguin Island to get here. The sand in Camiguin's shore is remarkably different in the White Sand Bar. It was peak season when we went therefore there were lots of people and you can even rent a beach umbrella. The... More

White Island perse is nothing but a small sand bar lost near the coast of Agojo, Mambajao, Camiguin. Getting in the island can be easily done with a 10 minute boat ride. Approaching the Island from afar, you could already see the white, shimmering sands of the Island which forms a letter "C" but it changes depending on the tide... More
