We went to camiguin as part of our school trip. One of the highlights was coming to this so called white island. From our resort we went there by jeep, which is the customary transportation in the island, and from the main land we could already sight the small strip of land just floating there by the sea. You can... More

Wednesmorning, First Week of September. SEVEN WORDS: White Sand, Aquamarine Seascape, Snorkeling, Dazzling Beauty. All that aside, this trip was a little surrel. Since Camiguin doesn't have its own white strand beaches, there is a chance to ride a pump boat for 1000p + rent Snorkels and Life Jackets for an additional 100p each, then ride for about 15 minutes... We went here before going back to CDO and the place is really amazing, it is an island with nothing but white sands. You will need an umbrella here in case you decided to go here at noon. The best time to come here is during morning when the sun is only about to rise. You can also try the... More

Awesome vistas, crystal clear waters, great snorkeling, no rip-offs by boatmen, perfect tan and barely any people. One of the top spots on Camiguin

This is basically a sand bar but the view of Camiguin is great! The boatman was very helpful and he even got us some beer when we realized we forgot ours. Tip: Go at sunset...it's amazing.

I always visit Camiguin with my family, every Holy Week we spend our time in the beautiful island of Camiguin last April we had a tour around the island wherein white island was part of the itinerary and as always we enjoyed the scenic view of the place, quiet relaxing and peaceful. My family enjoyed swimming but because we had... More

I suggest to visit the island earlier morning and go swimming until 10 am. No shade in the island. You may bring huge umbrellas or rent a tent if available. You can do picnic and cook barbecue. Bring back your trash to the main island. Observed cleanliness. You can do snorkeling and sun bathing. Snorkeling gear are 150 pesos per... More

I've been to Camiguin a couple of times before and I always visit Camiguin's famous White Island. Best time to go there is at dawn, it gets very hot on the island when the sun is up because there are no trees, just a sand bar. One word to describe white island, AMAZING! (a sandbar that forms a letter "C"... More

It looks pristine. Especially when you look down at it from -say- the Hibok Hibok volcano. It's absolutely gorgeous to be there during the sunset. But honestly, for the rest it's nothing. There's nothing there. There's only sand. There's not a single tree. During the season there may be some little tents of locals selling some stuff, and fishermen dock... More
