The day after Pacquiao-Mayweather fight, we chilled out on the morning hours in the beautiful white sand island of Camiguin. The traveler's inn we stayed in the town proper is just a minute walk where the "small boat" are stationed for the White Island. There is Kiosk where you will pay for the boat ride. Its Php450 boat rent.( to... More

A must see! A very fun and relaxing farey ride over to the Island. Easy boat ride out to the white sand beach. Take sun block and some form of shade if you can not take the sun,not to mention water and a snack.

This has been my third visit to this island and it has change in some ways. During my first visit way back August 2012, the island was just bare/naked and you have to get there during low tide which is best early morning. On my second visit last Ocober 2014, i have noticed that there were big umbrellas, tables, and... More

There is no vegetation in this sand bar. One of my friends told me that in the 1980s there were some trees in this sand bar. During low tide, one can even walk from Paras Beach Resort to the sand bar. Now, the area of the white island has decreased due to the supposedly quarrying activities of the white sand... More

A must place to see in Camiguin, one of the very few good spot to sit back and relax under the sun, but gets a little bit crowded as the sun comes up. From Mambajao it's easy to get there, you have to ride a tricycle cab (P10.00/Person) to get to Brgy. Yumbing where the Ferry Terminal is located, by... More

Got there at around 8 a.m. We took a boat ride going to the island. The place where you're dropped off was a tad crowded, but not so much that you won't be able to enjoy the place anymore. The sandbar farther out had fewer people; it's the perfect place to get your photos taken without much umbrellas and people... More

When I travel, going to the beach is my last option because I hate sunburn and I personally think that theres nothing I can do differently, those usual thing like getting henna tattoos, hair braid, sun bathing, swimming, so my personal belief is that I will just waste my time and my money if im gonna spend my vacation 'beaching'... This is my happy place. Everything is so perfect even with the sorching heat of the sun. It is just 2-3 mins away from the place we stayed. The place is sunburn worthy.

Located in Mambajao, Camiguin you can cross this island in 7minutes via motorboat. It's a long stretch of sandbar and best time to go is on the morning. Umbrellas and mats are available for rent. Don't stay so late as strong currents occur and might be having high tides. You can bring your food but of course be responsible. There... More
