we stayed in the Olsen Building. Fantastic small self catering unit with all the right features for the weekend. Loved the private bath with hot water. Good idea. The facilities of the resort is top standard. The restaurant had nice food, fast service and cheap prices. All and all it was a great weekend away. Will come back one day,... More

1.The baths is all about swimming but there is only a towel rail in the bathroom, not enough for all the wet towels. 2.The water pressure in the shower was very low, so you can't wash your hair 3.It was very hot and there are no ceiling fans (for that price!) 4.The hot tub we used was out of order... This was our family's first time trip with our two babies and we loved The Baths. We stayed in a cozy but spacious one bedroom chalet next to the swimming pool. The views are stunning and the pool was never crowded. The grounds were very clean and well kept and we had no issues with noise. The staff was friendly... More

Once again we enjoyed a wonderful long weekend at our "home-away-from-home" at The Baths. Thank you to the staff for your excellent service over this busy weekend. It is always a pleasure to meet up with "regulars" at this time of year and to enjoy the company of family and friends. Rest assured......we WILL be back!!! :-)

After a long hot road trip from Cape Town to Namibia and back again we were really looking forward to staying in this pretty, quirky little place. On arrival, it seemed like a wonderful oasis after the dry, arid environment in the Nama Karoo, Namibia. We were also looking forward to the charm of the old-fashioned Victorian accommodation as we... More

I do apologize if the unit you stayed in was not up to standard. It is just a pity that you did not report the problems after arrival, then we could have rectified the problems or placed you in other accommodation. We are in a process of upgrading all our accommodation units. The DWARSGEBOU units have just been renovated and the... More

We stayed in a self-catering chalet against the hilltop. I don't mind a place being older, but there's no excuse for filthy. The bathrooms looked like they hadn't been cleaned, the walls were mouldy, and the bedding stank (definitely not freshly laundered), and all of that for a hefty price. I ended up sleeping in my sleeping bag on the... More

I enjoyed the natural mineral pools, one hot another cold, also the clean and well-appointed chalet with beautiful views of the valley and distant mountains, surrounded by fields of citrus trees. All of this in a divine, restorative silence with fresh country air. Enjoy it!

We had a really great weekend. We were in room 35 which was a beautiful room with a big shower and bathtub. I would recommend that the cleaning staff take a bit more care to ensure a clean room but nothing to ruin a great weekend. The staff at McGregor's were very friendly but the food could probably be a... More

Myself and husband arrived at The Baths on Sunday 18Th January 2015. On arrival at the Main gate " Mannetjies" was extremely helpful. At the reception Kobus and he's co worker was helpful and gave us the layout and rules of the The Baths. We stayed at the outside chalets. We made friends with each and every person staying on... Into the mountains. Warm water private mountain pools makes for a interesting visit. More populated pools (two) are available as well as private jacuzzi rooms. Very hot and lots of campers in season but well worth the visit especially the restuarant.
