This is a must do. We went as a family and we all enjoyed it. Nothing beats a walk along the beach on a horse.

We LOVED this tour. One of the best rides i have ever been on. We rode on the beach practically alone, and the horses walked in the surf like they do it every day! The horses are very well trained and well taken care of, and Diego is obviously a professional. He made sure my boys ages 9 and 11... More

We did a two hour afternoon ride on the beach. They are very good with children and those that have not been on a horse before or for a very long time.

My family and I rode horses with Diego on the beach. We had so much FUN! My girls loved it! As a family we have very little horseback riding experience. Diego did such a fantastic job taking care of my 7 year old. He made sure she was safe the entire time. He even rode on the same horse as... More

Our girls, ages 12 and 14, have been riding since they were young and ride many times a week, so at first we were resistant to horseback riding on vacation. We are so glad that we changed our minds! Diego did a private tour for our family (while the girls are experienced riders, we are not) and this was definitely... More

My son and I travel each year together since he was very young. This year we did Costa Rica/ Manuel Antonio area. During my research of the area, I saw that there seemed to be two types of horseback rides available. Those were, into the rainforest to see wildlife and waterfalls, and the riding along the beach deal here with... More

We used Diego for my family with an 11 and 9 year old. We ALL had a great time. Diego has fantastic horses that are happy and well maintained. They are also friendly and we always felt safe. Diego let us trot and the beach was lovely. I highly recommend emailing him if you are in Manual Antonio. He responds... More

Like riding with a friend, not a tour company. Horses were gentle and responsive. Well trained and well cared for. Tour was personalized on nearly vacant beach- felt like paradise! Worked with all levels of riders and age groups(From 10yrs old to 55+). Authentic Costa Rican Lunch on the beach and transit to and from our resort, all included. We... More

My husband, daughter and I have a reasonable amount of horse experience and had done a mountain ride in Arenal earlier in our stay so our hotel concierge set us up with a beach ride with Diego. It was one of the most memorable horseback riding experiences of our lives. Diego was a very experienced guide who was great with... More

My daughter and I and two of her friends signed up for a ride with Rancho Savegre this weekend. We got a bit lost on our way because of a mistake we made with out directions but they helped us find our way over the phone and made us feel very comfortable right away when we arrived with no worries...
