We visited here in August and truly disappointing seen nothing and just wasted our time and money. We walked 4 kms to and back but just seen butterfly and nothing else. They say you can watch many things from tower but that was also closed. Better stay and hotel and enjoy there instead of visitng this place every travel company... More

Had visit in august. They explained before buying the ticket that no birds can be seen. Inr 50 for the ticket per person. Car park abt inr 35. Long walk abt 4 km to and fro. Same route for in and out. Saw an ant eater on the way near the bushes. Not worth visit in off season. Couples can... More

I went there in the rains, the last stretch was muddy. The view from the observation tower made the trip worthwhile

150 rs. Per person to walk a route that is blocked off at the moment is too much! You cannily walk half the route and so have to walk back on yourself instead of the intended circular walking path. The butterfly garden is worth the visit though :)

We experienced a glimpse of it while travelling on our way to the resort in the houseboat. We did not go there but if you are a nature lover one should surely go. Best time to visit is in the evening as birds do come back here at this time. I did sight White headed eagle while in house boat.

It was raining and a very quite period at the sanctuary. Otherwise it seems to be a very nice and quite place.

For those interested must go during Feb-March, thats migratory period when all sort of colorful birds would be coming. For remaining 10 months: Its filled with only 2-3 kinds. For jungle walk yes, but during rainy season walkway is filled with mud and wild mosquitos. Rain makes it filthy and then this place doesnt justify investing your vacation time. I... More

Well, I don't have much knowledge about birds. But a walk made us fresh and active. It was peaceful and it was drizzling. Wished my gf was with me instead of my frds as the whole experience was very romantic.

it is located just near the lake by the side of Vivanta by Taj. If you are taking a boat cruise/ house boat cruise you can get glimpse of more birds than in this sanctuary. It is a waste of time and money.
