We were told not go in the afternoon or evening but early morning to maximize our chances of a sighting. So we arrived at sharp six thirty. Our visit was disappointing as we did not spot any birds. Our two cents - November is not the season for sightings and please cover your arms and legs unless you do not... More

We saw the bird sanctury only from the boat and there were not many birds there really. Pretty average stuff.

we went in October though the recommended season is December to February as during this period a lot of migratory birds can be seen visiting. please visit early in the morning to catch-up on birds and sights and sounds.

Go in the late afternoon or early evening for best chance to see the birds. They leave their nests in the morning and start arriving back late afternoon. Seen a few things, however, nice place to visit regardless of the time of day. Nature at its best. You will definitely see a variety of wildlife - guaranteed. Enjoy!

I enjoyed my stroll in this sanctuary, but apparently early November is not the best time to go birding there. A bridge was under repair when I was there. But repairs should be finished by mid November. A couple of sections of the path had a few inches of water on them so wear appropriate foot wear.

Hear bird chirping on various trees top. Walk down the jungle and take as much pictures you want with different species and birds. One can also have a view of bird sanctuary from outside by going through house boat and enjoy the nature.

first - you have to go rather early in the morning (6:30 or before if you can) if you want to sight any birds. second - you'll be more lucky only during the breeding season, ideal is winter time apparently. its a very long trail (almost 3 to 4km round trip) so be ready for a good 90 min to...
