This church dates back to Medieval times and offers a wonderful feel for the history of Josselin. It's impressive to take the time to appreciate all that has gone on while this church has been standing. its well kept easy to access; clean and just a joy to visit; the christmas nativity is remarkable; its the same every year; the clock tower is a must if your brave and like hights; well worth a visit

It's well worth climbing up the 139 (I think) narrow winding stone steps to the Bell Tower at the top of the Basilique. The view over Josselin and the chateau is stunning and it's free (at least it was in August when we visited).

The Rohan family dominate the area.The sense of knights of old possess the area the church has a sense of peace. A Pardon is held every first sunday of September and is reputed to heal those afflicted with epilepsy
