After my first culinary classes with Annie Manson with my family in 2011, I knew I needed to return and write about her knowledge and enthusiasm, the Andalusian white-washed village she calls her home and the incredible bounty of the region. This past April, I traveled back to Spain and with Annie as my inspiration, wrote this piece http://tinyurl.com/kxddgkx Thanks!... More

I have been to Vejer on several occasions as we have a family holiday home there and as a keen cook, I was desperate to learn about the flavours and combinations of traditional Spanish food. The day was completely magical from start to finish and I now feel comfortable trying new dishes on the menu that I would never have... More

I can't think of anything else on TripAdvisor for which I have seen so many (exclusively) 5 star reviews. But now it is all clear to me as to why! We spent a great day with Annie - going to the market in Barbate to buy fish, then going back to her lovely house and cooking and eating for the... More

Wow, what a wonderful day! Me, my husband and 3 children, ages 10, 8 and 6 years old, were lucky to spend a day with Annie over the Easter holiday. I was concerned before we went if my children would be able to last the whole day, but they were all so into the cooking and eating and Annie, the... More

My husband and I and another couple spent a day learning to cook Andalusian style with Annie and her assistant Pepi. We had a wonderful time, learned to cook some great seafood dishes, and got an education on sherry (with tastings!). Lunch on the rooftop patio was a dream, looking out over stunning Vejer at the Atlantic in the distance.... More

Really special way to get a bit of insight how people really live in a small village in Spain. Annie is lovely, fluent in English and Spanish, and she will meet you at the market and show you how the locals buy the freshest herbs, produce, meat and seafood. You then proceed to her home for your interactive cooking lesson.... More

We had never been to Vejer de la Frontera before, so it was a delight to combine our first trip to the town with a visit to Annie B's Spanish Kitchen. Annie first of all took us to Barbate market where we bought all the fresh ingredients, including pargo and lubina for making our salt-baked fish dish. To our amazement,... More

We had a wonderful time going to the market, cooking and spending the day with Annie. She is personable, warm and friendly. We learned a lot about the food and sherry of Andalucía, we learned how to prepare a number of Spanish dishes and we had a delicious lunch. Beyond her cooking class, Annie offered to help us plan our... More

My wife and I have been to Annie B's a couple of times now, and 'cooking holiday' doesn't really do it justice. It's more a trip into the wonderful world of Spanish food and drink - with the recipes and skills you pick up along the way an added bonus. Annie is a delight and her passion for everything to...
