The lake is completely dried. In past the rain water used to collect from the Aravali range into this lake. But now due to changes the lake is without water and people used to play cricket there. Near to the lake there is a temple - Parson Mandir. The temple of Lord Parshuram. One can visit this place in the... More

The picnic spot is not worth visiting, There is nothing to enjoy, poor surroundings, hopeless eating joints run by the Gov of Haryana. The local population enjoyed this place till late 80's.

Located in the heart of NCR, the lake as such is very beautiful. It is very poorly maintained not even worth going with your family once.

I kept on visiting Bandkhal since my childhood and had lot of memories but unfortunately now it has lost its charm as there in no lake now. Restaurants, motel etc lack maintenance and not worth staying.

Nothing like the lake is left in this place. No more a tourist spot now. Won't recommend this to anyone, as there's nothing to see now.

There is no lake,as it has dried off due to too much mining by HARYANA GOVT..The place is very isolated and there is high chance of getting looted.so,BEWARE. The place would have been a good LOCAL tourist spot as it has small, treeless hills around. Its isolation has made it peaceful, which a place in NCR cant afford. The only thing which comes... More

There was a time when this was a nice picnic spot & was maintained beautifully. However, it seems to be quite a neglected place these days. The food is average, the service is slow and inefficient & the furniture needs to be replaced. If you want to go boating & maybe just have a stroll you could give it a... More

This lake was a beautiful picnic spot and could have stood in competetion with Sattal, Bhimtal, Naukutchiatal but for the greed of excessive illegal mining the base rocks of the lake developed faults and the water drained away. Wish it could be somehow resurrected.

just don't visit this place. There is hardly anything left over here, t he lake is dry and there is no activity to do, all cows in the lake grazing the left over grass. Only there is a tourist complex motel which has a bar and a restaurant, which i dont feel is worth this place visiting for.
