First stayed in Sidari in 1985 . Then a beautiful fishing village with 2 or 3 hotels and a long sandy beach ideal for families . The beach is still there but much more commercialised and now surrounded by bars and appartments and no longer the peaceful venue that it was.

Beach was firm sand and grit, but the water is clean and safe. Most of the restaurants on one side of the strip have rear entrances out onto the beach.

It is one of the best beaches I have ever seen, and, probably, the only one, where everybody can find the place to have a rest at his own taste. But let us discuss it point by point. It is really big, so you will not have the problems with finding the place. The second point is that the deck... More

Met Fiona and Andy at The Sea Monkey five years ago and have gone back every year since. Such a lovely couple who are really friendly with everyone. The food is well worth a try as it is lovely and fresh, tasty and plenty of it. Also plenty of good fun and banter. We were looking to rent a place... More

It's not a great beach, it is not beautiful, not well maintained, and has too many drunk loud Brits on it! If you go further away from the main section there are some small nice places, just be sure to look! Get a quad and head out around the Island there are some beautiful beaches.

lovelly water but beach could have been cleaner - lots of bars using the beach to attract holidaymakers sunbeds etc -draw a line in the sand to make a perimeter and be responsible for their bit of beach ie " CLEANEST BEACH IN SIDARI " might give them the edge on getting people through the door/

End of season visit to this vast sandy beach on the northern end of the Island. It was deserted but not worth the trip. The beach front looks decrepit and the shops and bars that are still open look like tourist traps exported from Brighton in the 70's. The place looks full of low rent villas and resort apartments, about... More
