Totally ruining Samui, blasting out the first 10 seconds of "Eye of the Tiger" constantly, over and over. You cannot eat dinner in peace, you can't avoid it at the beach. It does not stop, constant boats back and forth along Chaweng beach, constant trucks driving past blaring out this theme tune, totally ruining the place, they actually ruined my... More

We had a good night here, the cheap seats are pretty uncomfortable but they were fine for one night. This was our second Muay Thai experience in Thailand and Chaweng was definitely the best. The fights were good and we even caught a British guy fighting at the end which made for a good atmosphere.

1500 baht, to be seated back from ring side on the floor at bar leaners and chairs. The chairs are so uncomfortable, the arena was so hot, despite the fans. Good service for drinks. Was a good night of Muay Thai!

A real basic kickboxing stadium. No AC but great atmosphere once the fights started. A few fights/beers in it really livened up. One downside is that many of the fight were junior bouts. Felt a little odd goading on a ten year old! Transportation leaving was I little dicey as not the best part of town.

Fairly small venue which adds to the excitement as no seat is very far away. Being from the states we don't get a chance to see kick boxing. If you bring the girls be ready for them to at first be squeamish but after the first knockout they'll be loving it to.

Went to Chaweng Stasium to see some Muay Thai boxing matches last night. This is a Rhai martial arts form which is rather interesting set to a backdrop if special music, the fighters use hands, elbows, knees & legs. Fights started around 9:30pm and 7 matches of 5 three minute rounds took place on Friday night. Worth a visit. Get... More
