...with the help of SITCA:) A Thai cooking class was a good break from the daily beach and diving activities. With that being said we did the late afternoon/evening class so we could enjoy some beach time earlier in the day. We showed up and participated in a class with four other guys. The instructor was very nice and knowledgeable... More

My wife and I are both in our mid 40’s and were in Koh Samui for a 2 week holiday. Being regular travellers to Asia, I was determined to do a cooking class this time and searched around for classes hoping to find one that included a local market tour. I saw brochures for Sitca (Samui Institute of Thai Culinary... More

we went here for a dinner cooking class, it was the best experience ever! the instructor was fantastic, it was laid back, fun with all the details of ingredients and even where to try buying these once we back in Australia. everything is so very well organised so the whole lesson flows seamlessly as there is extra staff to help... Located in Chaweng, slow start and minor difficulties due to English being second language of instructor which are overcome by her enthusiasm and friendliness. Cook three courses from scratch and easily the best Thai meal you will have. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to add some variety to their trip. Need to bring a friend to help consume the... My husband and I did this cooking class whilst on honeymoon in Koh Samui. We loved it. The instructor was knowledgeable and the classes are well organised. The food was just amazing, probably the best we had in Samui but we cooked it ourselves! It's a shame we had to waste so much as we both cooked two portions of... More

This is a must-do for anyone interested in learning how to cook Thai food. The instructor and support staff were excellent, and the instructions were clear and the facilities were excellent. SITCA has a well-defined program of menus, so it is easy to check online and pick the dishes you are most interested in. We did the yellow curry of... More

Great instructor, high number of support staff to assist you, aircon premises, huge quantum of food produced, great idea to invite others to join you for a meal once you've finished cooking. This was a massively better experience than the cooking class we nearly did at our hotel - changed at the last minute to do this. If we'd known... More

Really enjoyed our cooking class. We booked the day beforehand online and phoned to confirm, and were delighted to get a place at such short notice. It was great to see what dishes were taught in each session as we were really keen to learn how to make Thai Green Curry, so we made sure to book the Tuesday Morning... More

Now I'm home in the UK I want to get stuck in an cook Proper Thai food which Sitca has given me the skills to do! We took both morning and afternoon classes on a Monday and so learnt 6 dishes in total, and the insights you're given (e.g. the different ways to cut lemongrass for different dishes) is invaluable...
