Our 5yo daughter asked to go to the Big Rocking Horse after seeing the ad on TV. We also took our 15 yo daughter too. They had a great time in the Animal sanctuary patting the sheep, alpaca & kangaroos. The cafe was great for a lovely lunch too. Its very interesting to see how the rocking horse was built... More

If you have young children, this place will be OK. If not, don't get too excited unless you want to pet animals and see a giant rocking horse in need of a new coat of paint. The areas surrounding this place are well worth a drive.

I am sorry that you found it "too" dull. We try to cater for the young and also the young at heart - they always seem to have a great time. More

A small animal scantuary so good for overseas people and kids to look a the Australian animals. Big Aviary of... More

Thank you so much. When the cafe gets very busy it is a stressful environment for the staff, so it is very good to hear that they did so well. More

Had a great time with my family two toddlers walking around and feeding the very friendly animals. Had a climb up on the rocking horse only up the first level as the climb to the top is not suitable for little children. Good stop for an hour or .

Whenever travelling through the hills, this place is always good to stop and have lunch and stretch the legs. The horse itself is cool and seen a lot of people over the years. The climb up the metal ladders is not for the faint hearted. Steep and tall and somewhat slippery when wet. Cafeteria available with wide selection of food... More

You can climb up inside the Largest Rocking Horse Sculpture in the World. It's ok because it doesn't actually rock.
